I paid 3500 gold and want to play in tournament and because of this bug I cant and I will lvl up to 14 combat level sooner than this will be fixed, so Im pretty fed up of this! |
Is it only EW members who " suffer" under these rules? NO!
Tell us really if clan A has 20 players competing for 2 spots - clan B has 10 players competing for 2 spots and clan C has 2 players competing for 2 spots - assuming all those players are active - and assume 20 games are played total - how many battles each member of each clan would have?
Assuming that someone can solve this complex problem - player of clan C will probably gather more points than clan A player even if he ends every single game 4th-6th place and player from clan A wins both of his games.
Therefore the limitation of 2 people / clan is destroying the purpose of this tournament by itself. People belonging in most numerous clan have no chance to win tournament.
EW members temporarily leaving their clan in order to take part in tournament wouldn't have been half as much of a problem (if at all) if it wasn't for the fact that they coordinate their actions in blindfold battle.
Could not agree more Shebali. However previous blindfold tournament showed that among a group of 20-30 people of same level, it is practically impossible to avoid predetermined cooperation - since it is too easy to know who is who. And admins so far did not find/ did not try to find a solution and problem remains. Rules do not prevent this at this point - and unless those rules change somehow ( I can't really imagine a way to do this ) I simply fear that blindfold battles and FFA battles in general is a really bad format and extremely abusable - when they happen between high level people around here.
I will probably not take part in the tournament for the reasons above - even though I could really use the fsp.... the nature of the battle itself with current game rules is doomed to be frustrating for most of the people involved. |

This whole situation is because admins copied the tournament from .ru, without regard to .com reality.
But only ones who have real cause to complain are 13-14 levels who are way too few.
There are ways to organise a combat for 6 people from 3 different clans. We have clans for this, although they usually organise group battles. Imo EW should've tried to stay within rules (written or implied) instead of trying to bend them. |
| people don't need to be from EW to team up again eachother using something like Skype. anybody can do it, EW is just using their brains in order to actually fight. otherwise there would be like, 5 fights in the whole tournament and they're out of time. actually, im surprised other war clans didn't do this |
some of the level 12 players tried writing pretty much everyone on their level to arrange battles, it didn't work, so they had to find some other way.

Sorry but I wont shut up for you or anyone else. The rest of us need to know what is happening here and then they can make their choice to play or not. As we can see by the times the exodus began, that group talked about it before it happened. If I thought this was something to be fined over, I would have posted it in the appropriate section. I posted here because WE ALL have the right to know what is happening. Those who don't like it? I don't really care what you like or how many things you write about me. I will always bring these things to the public and I don't care who likes it. |

Today i try search some players for turnament, i send many pm's, but it still didnt start, players are from different clans, i dont know what rule you all think about, if is nowhere written.....
8 times (or more) i try play turnament. We all waiting long time for turnament like this one. But we all cant play. Not only EW, we have no official announcements about this rule. No official answers. .... But we have here MODI who say: EW try broke rules .... but where are this rules.... we are at start. This topic is only MODI's personal attack to EW again. My post isn't directed to you. Like I said, levels 13-14 have a right to complain and it's been noted before, and not once, that there can be no blindness when there are less than 50 of you in total.
As for the rule in question - just because it was not mentioned doesn't mean it's not there. It's obviously forbidden by programming for more than 2 players from one War clan to join same battle. It's made even more obvious by the fact that this rule exists on .ru.
This is hardly first time things got lost in translation. I don't see why you keep denying it's existance though. |

If you believe this is our way of winning this tournament, i suggest that you all stay away from battle that have EW in it. Let us play 20 battles then you guys can play afterward, you all think that players in EW got to here we are today because of staged battle and or any illegal way. The fact is, we haven't play many tourney battle.
But in god's name, can 2 players from EW can really beat 4 players? You're overestimating us. And there's no proof that we have team up together to win this tournament either. All of this is just assumption being made by all of the players. And as for EW?
We just want to play some tournament battles, that's all. We're being accused of something we haven't done, does that make sense?
Feel free to hate us, but don't accuse us of something we haven't done, that's the bottomline. |
As a player who is not at the eschelons of many players involved in this I feel somewhat inadequate to comment, though will not allow that to prevent me from commenting as I think others have a neccesary input to this debate and I like to try to add some unemotive clarity if I can.
The premise of Modi's to identifying the wider community of the issues and dynamic at the top and the tactics that have been used is I feel a valid one, and I am glad that he made this post. I however disagree about the emotive language used, but Modi and many others, and feel that many should take a higher line that this sniping.
Personally I think the leaving of a clan to provide a better chance of entering the tournament is perfectly fair and a reasonable judgement given the circumstances. However, if this was publically made aware by the people doing it and mentioned as a global problem between clans, rather than within a clan it would probably have avoided a feeling of resentment by some. If this was done and I was unaware I apologise.
Therefore in my opinion the real question comes down to the morale standing of those people who may or may not have pre organised team ups in an all for all. If they did then I think this does need raising in profile, especially to admins to resolve it. The arguement cannot be resolved purely by what is in the rules as this is based around the assumptions that the rules are currently perfect and need no amending. Some things are based around morality. There is no rule in any country that I know where there is a law against pushing in a queue. However, it is something that shouldn't happen, and the general public will usually enforce themselves even if a law doesn't require it to be so.

And if some player leave EW clan to try play turnament after 7 months, then MODI attack our clan. Is here problem .ru have 10* or more players. They havent problem with this. We have. Just found me 5 player from others clan in time and go play with them i not need someone from EW. We need play 5 to one, we want only play, but noone understand. And now is only way for some players to leave EW, or is impossible to play 20 battles (i mean that without some leave cant everyone play 20 battles). And if you look to #29 .... our players are damaged by this system.... |

If there was a staged battle you know I would have posted it but I didn't. This recent activity was spotted and reported to me by someone else and because it can directly have an outcome for us at 12/13, this needed to be made public. Who can stop your players from leaving your clan, only to rejoin after the tournament? Nobody. But you know well that the rest of us are placed in a possible bad situation to find 2 EW members, and up to 2 more EW members who just left in the same match. Please do not insult us by insinuating we should not be worried that there would be no co-ordination. It is quite clear, unless you can produce a clan mail, that these players planned this together. Ethically it is wrong not to tell the rest of us what we could be facing. I know for a fact that you did not contact us about this. I got two PMs. One from RADO and one from Sider, asking me to join. RADO asked me to PM the GB clan. No effort was made to resolve this from clan leader to clan leader. There should have been notification in the forum or at least to all high level clan leaders of this move and then we act as ONE. I won't apologize for exposing this. We have a right to know what we are facing. Then we can each make our own choice to join or not. This thread is that notification. |
| ^^ Consider this as alert of what's happened not any accusation and if there's no system rule about something doesnt mean its always right. Contestants can be easily teaming up even if they're not from the same clan so rules can be followed, bend or broken but sportmanship is just beyond any rule. |

I will say this...in the handful of fights that I've been in, there has been serious coordination among some clans (I won't mention names).
If you watch my combat logs you'll see it for yourself...
Since I have NO desire to win, I go in and just play for fun...often attacking 4+ members of the 6 member FFA just to 'spice things up.' But when I am gang-banged by 2+ players, and they both are from the same clan..or I see two players crippling another player in a battle..it really doesn't make sense. I try to help underdogs in my battles to sorta "Counter" the coordination, but there is only so much ONE honest player can do.
But, again, it really does make me SICK to see such blatant in-game coordination. I mean, really, have these folks forgotten it's just a game? Jeeze...no wonder there haven't been more tournaments on this server. Bunch of cheaters running around pulling power-plays. |
