Neither.
Chronicler lets someone update a clans profile page.
Herald lets someone send clan mails.
Nothing at all to do with leadership.

| There is no assistant leader position. But the closest would be someone who has all the positions: treasurer, recruiter, chronicler, and herald. The treasurer can be considered the highest position, but they still lack powers from the other positions. |
| Treasurer is the person with whom the clan will be passed onto if you are blocked for any reason. So therefore they can be considered the assistant leader. |
