That post tells us that dwarves will invade the Empire and we will have to fight them. When will it start? Nobody knows and those who know (the admins) are talking. |

All we know is that:
1.) You need to be in a military clan to participate.
2.) Dwarves are completely new units with new abilities.
3.) You probably need a lot of gold.
4.) The war will happen soon as per the announcements. We got the new factories and the tournaments. |
as far as I know you dont need to be in a MC to participate;
If you re not in one, youre score wont "count" so you cant "win" certain prizes, like medals (if we have the same thing as on .ru) |

You don't have to be in a Military Clan to play but only the results of the MC count to the winning or losing of territories (as on ru), but we don't know nif it's the same here, so let's not speculate.
