I was eliminated after 8 defeats - playing Knight. Surprisingly, I managed to win twice against Barbarians, once to another Knight, once to a Dark Elf (playing bad), and once to a Wizard (playing bad). Never met Elf. But apart from the occasional lame playing opponent, some factions didn't stood a chance.
I met Necros, Necros, Demons, Demons, all the time. I wonder how many players switched for these factions just for the tournament! |
I also plays as knight and can't understand why people say its weak!
I have 12 victories and no defeat, I just played a necro, ho had a momentarily afk. But in my oppinon I was winning the batle at that point anyways.
Jousting and Healing is great for this tournemnt.
But i must admit that Necro and Demon is also strong.

I play as necro.
So far faced 3 demons and killed 3 demons :D
battled 2 knights - 1 win / 1 loss
& a DE - easy win.
Just getting started though so will see how it goes but nice to see all these new events and features. |
I'd like to meet a knight, and a barb, cause I haven't battled them really.
(Knight i had as my opponent, but somehow, when I had 10 seconds left to arrange my troops, the battle started, and I had two stacks of 10... :S)
DE is a bit random, depends on who starts the combat.
Necros.. I've killed all that I've met, although they not played good.
Demons.. they all killed me.
Elves.. Poor elves. Did any elf won a combat?
Wizzy. I dunno. I met 2, and defeated both. Maybe their tactic was bad? |

All played as Knight. I think i met every race in the 15 batle.
De, E and B was very easy opponents for knight. But all factions were possible to beat with the outstanding paladins |

Playing as Dark elf. I found it hard to beat necro, wiz and deamon, and maybe knight with good strategies, but also won against all of these factions. never met barb. The Disruption ray spell was usefull with many 1 stack dark witches.

Perhaps the Knight stood a greater chance if he separated only paladins, perhaps in larger stacks, then use Panacea. I dunno though.
Were there other matches that you won? I'd watch them ^^ |

I am not sure if i do some more, because its probably a waste of time. Demons and Necros are definetly unbeatable for elf, because of their abiliies. And yes, i think wojtek234 could have won with a better use of panacea... |
Sorry, but this tournament suck. The vast majority of players are demons.
Demons in this tournament is to hard compared to other races. Especially vs DE.
It is not balanced battle. |
yep, they should have removed the gating ability, this way it would have been more even.

This tournament was never ment to be fair. This is why there is no price money. The tournament just gives you the oportunity to try out some high level creatures, thats all and nothing more.
So just enjoy your fights and don't make the fault to think this is a fair tournament :). |
