#5. As the highest bid is getting closer and closer to my "hidden price" (the first digit is already right), less and less times of bids are given. So I would like to reduce the auction time from 10 days to 7 days. The new end time of the auction will be exactly 7 days after the opening time of the thread, Sat 2010-07-03 09:29:37 AM at LWM system time.
#6. The price for a brand new Mithril longsword [I10E10A10W10] is about 850k. My sword has about 50% usage left. What will be the price if I give you an extra discount of 20% off? You can calculate it by simply multiple the three number together: 850k * 50% * 80%. My hidden price is even lower than the number you get. :)

This is a false statement. The simple fact is: After 450 battles, the sword will reach 0/39, for a 90% repairing, it will become 35/38. The repair fee for the sword is 19824, and most ppl can get it repair at 90% of efficiency for 110% of cost, 21806 gold (well, if you can't, I am happy to offer that for the life time of the sword :p) So 21806/35 = 623 gold/battle.
I am not sure if it's just a mistake in your calculation or you did it on purpose. If it's your way to push away my customer (I already see that you are doing it again and again in my thread) and try to get my sword at your earlier bid 100k, 110k, or 200k, then I am sorry to tell you that I won't sell it at a price lower than 300k. Why? Let me help you share the whole calculation results that you won't share with us. :D
After 17 use, 17/50 becomes 0/50. With repair fee 21806 gold, you get 45/49. Then after another 45 use, 0/49 get repaired to 44/48 for 21806 gold...
17/50 --> 45/49 --> 44/48 --> 43/47 --> .... --> 24/26 --> 23/25
How many battles you get in total? 17+45+44+43+...+24+23 = 862 battles
How many repair fee you paid? 21806*25 = 545k
If consider the sword = 300k as the highest bid right now, then the total money you out of pocket is 845k.
The most popular renting price for a Mithril longsword [I10E10A10W10] is 1250 gold. I just opened a renting thread after reviewing other owner's price yesterday, and I already get some customers:

The total money you need to pay for renting 862 battles is: 1250 * 862 = 1077k.
So you can save 1077k - 845k = 232k gold.
In other words, you can rent it other ppl to earn 232k gold net profit, plus a Mithril longsword [I10E10A10W10][0/25] sword in hand :p
Actually, the maximum net profit is reached when you use it for 980 battles: 249k gold + Mithril longsword [I10E10A10W10][0/19]. It's more than 80% net profit from the sword.
If you reduce your renting price to 1200 gold/battle, which can bring you more customers, you can still make 200k gold + Mithril longsword [I10E10A10W10][0/19] (about 70% net profits). There good business :D
If you can get 100% repairing fee for 90% repairing, well, you can even make more money.
