couldn't be bothered reading all replying posts so if some1 said this before sorry but here is what i want to say:
you got a lot of great ideas but those epic monsters would be impossible to beat at least for a single player (not all of them but most) even at lvl 15.
you should really check their stats again, a caster with 5000 mana and 15000 hp will kill everything...

I understand your concern about the difficulty of epic monsters, but they wouldn't be that hard for the following reasons;

1. I suggested a maximum level increases to 16
2. Every tier has at least one listed upgrade in this thread (tier 1 has two upgrades)
3. There are new spells for level 14 listed at the beginning of pg. 2.

Just sorta skim over all of the new creature upgrades. I mean,I think a level 16 Necro with like 400 Skeletal Arbalists, 50 wraiths, 30 Shades, 15 Morogs, 8 Death Heralds, and 3 Dracoliches can stand a fighting chance. Anyways, the fight is supposed to be incredibly hard, with only a thin chance for victory. If you have any more questions let me know. :)

i think elf faction should have centaurs in fifth tier.If they want,they can change into unicorns.Upgrade is centaur archers.The same modifiers for unicorns
Aren't skeletal arbalists a bit overpowered? with 7hp, that's nearly double the health of the other skeleton upgrade, and with vitality, they will last ridiculously long

Not a bad suggestion, but this could only be implemented once they create alt-grades. Hold on to that idea, and maybe work on some others for the other factions. If you can organize your ideas into a neat thread, you might be able to influence the developers' decisions. Hey, ya never know.

That is true, and the number I suggested was ridiculously high. I just felt that if the skeleton archer unit was upgraded, it deserved to have an xp increase. And with the necromancer's special ability, their skeleton population is extremely high. I'm thinking at higher levels the necro's class ability should be nerfed, or perhaps skeletal arbalists should count as two skeletons (so they can only have half the units they could otherwise.) This would require lots of testing and would ultimately be up to the developer. Thank you for your concerns. :)

high fsp knights with max crossbows can defeat most epic hunts easily if they are somewhat smart about thier gameplay

Gargs on a plateau in a non-flyer/teleporter/shooter hunt. Unbeatable.

That is true, and that is why steps must be taken to prevent occurrences such as this (e.g. prevent plateaus from being on a map where a mage is battling monsters without a way of attacking the gargoyles.) Good point though, I never thought of that. :) Oh, and sorry for taking so long to reply. I've been dealing with some personal matters, and I haven't been on in a while.
Skelies crossbowmen should have aimed shot too .. :) but with damages : 2 - 3 only .. :)

I must admit that the skeleton crossbowmen and arbalists are a bit overpowered, and should either 1) have damage nerfed or 2) have the number at high levels drastically slashed. If aimed shot was added, that would simply make them more powerful, and they'd need to be nerfed even further.

I couldn't read all the messages, but I wanted to ask you something:
did you think about building a model to test the performances of the new troops?
I mean something easy, for example a spreadsheet based on excel ...

It could help you balance the new troops by simulating fights.

Thank you for the many compliments. :) And no, I have not done anything to simulate the battles in order to help balance. I figured if the game developers liked the idea,they could do the balancing far better than I, and in programs far superior to simple Excel. I'd simply be wasting my time, and unnecessarily confusing myself with the massive jumble of numbers. That wouldn't be a bad idea though, if I was really passionate about figuring out recruit count for myself.

i looked at the epic monster quests, and i believe a high fsl knight with crosbows with defensive talents could easily beat most of the monsters.....
