Gotta Appreciate the fantastic work , it really takes a big deal of tym to post such things and even if they were 50% original combined with so-called- taken from other sources, i must say Hats off to you. You'r far better than people who just complain about such a marvelous creativity :)

Well after Arctic stated that the Admins took inspiration from this I didn't want to bother.

But when Rendingblade claims "and I didn't copy, say, the Blackguard class from another site." (see post # 83) I have to express a degree of scepticism. Again, perhaps not copied from another site, but I think the source of inspiration for this "Class" is fairly clear.

Blackguard has been a D&D character class for quite some time (since around 2000 in fact). Anti-Paladins have been so for even longer.

Please note one of the more prominent special abilities that the Blackguard Character Class possess in D&D - "Aura of Evil". Sound familiar? Look at post # 12.

While the Admins may have taken inspiration from this thread, they could just as easily have taken inspiration from a complete collection of various D&D rulebooks of various editions.

@103 Nice to see if you've taken an interest in putting down my thread. :) Okay, I'll try to address your points...

1) The only D&D styled game I've ever played, is Neverwinter Nights. In that game, there was a blackguard class, but it did not have the aura of evil ability. And yes, I got the faction name from there, as I thought a blackguard would be a suitable leader for the forces of darkness in LoWM. (I don't think I even played that class, I just read through the class description and abilities. I've always been more of a wizard.)

2) I don't usually just look up random D&D classes on the internet, and have never encountered the site you linked (or similar sites) listing a blackguard with the "evil aura" ability.

3)It's not too extreme of a concept that I would come up with the same ability that the blackguard would have in D&D, considering his background. He's evil, and holds a grasp on magic, so I came up with the idea. It's unfortunate that the name coincides with the blackguards D&D ability, but I can assure you, I did NOT copy it. As well, I don't think the ability has the same affect. If it would appease you (since that is soooooo high up on my list of priorities) I could change it's name to "debilitating aura"

4)Yes, admins could have taken inspiration from a collection of D&D handbooks, but Arctic did state my thread did inspire (albeit not greatly) the dev team. That seems like a pointless statement, considering he said what I'm telling you on this thread. I imagine that was just another insult you decided to pile on.

I must congratulate you though, you must be very dedicated to trashing my thread to waste the time to look up this stuff and post it here. Kudos to you.

I felt that something as dark as resurrection would be reserved for the necromancer units. Anyway, I don't think it needs an extra ability :)

New Faction:Dwarves

Long obsessed of their small size they were forced to work in the mines to dig out the coal. Long centuries they competed with the elves but they were no match the arrows slitted their lungs.Put today they throw away their pickaxes and grab their might hammer !

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but the dwarven class has already been created. It exists in .ru (it's lordswm, but russian) and it will someday (hopefull y soon) come to this game. They're doing final balancing and talents in .ru, so when it comes to us it should be perfectly balanced.
