Yeah, it depends on the players. If you wearing min AP, i think the cost is still acceptable but you have to prepare many lose.
Remember, you can get permanent 9% initiative if you reach lv.9 TGI. You can calculate, how much cost 1 battle if you use +9% initiative arts to boost your stats.
Beside that, you can enjoy one of the most famous game feature "THIEVING", feel the different gameplay, different map size, different starting setup, ambush two players, different tactics, etc :P |

the price that player post on market is not legit! the real price is around 1.3 to 1.1 million!
the real TGI price is around 1million gold. the one on the market right now, is just somebody was bored :)
For everyone: It is good to realize, that topics like this and posts like this are also determining the price of TGI! If 5 players write here that the price is 500k, it would be more difficult for coolahed and darkelf84 to speculate with it. |

Sorry, but why should they? I would be fourious, if I buy something for x gold and I can't later sell it for x+1 gold.
It is easy - if you find something else to expensive, than don't buy it! Wait for better prices or buy it elsewhere.
I'm also often the victim of too high prices, but I'm completly against someone telling the people at what price they should sell their goods. If someone buys it, that it was either the right price or even too low - it is never too high, if someone is still buying it. |

Regulation of TGI price is definitely not a good idea. If it's expensive for you, don't buy it. Many people think the way that they just must have TGI and that is one of the reasons why is TGI so expensive. So let it go. You don't need it. You still have life, even without it ;-) |

That forces new players to throw diamonds into the air! The admins have nothing to gain from a controlled TGI price! And yet, everything to gain from a chaotic, uncertain TGI acquisition through the in-game market.

I do not understand why it is not legit, other than the possibility of financial assist of selling a way over the last transacted price. Admins are free to check IF such a transaction takes place.

Yup. Being the one who put it up, I am the only person who can state the intention.
Below is what I told someone in reply to a PM offer to buy it around market price.
It was more of an announcement that I have a TGI than the intention to sell it. After all, there is no reason to sell it.

While it would make things difficult for resellers/speculators, I do not think controlling market prices this way is right. In any case, potential buyers/sellers should always check if there is any vested interest whenever someone says anything.

From post #13, I am assuming that you will eventually work your way towards getting into the thief guild (through diamonds or TGI).
Personally, I feel that Pantheon in post #14 is good advice.
Arghmage in post #25 suggests prudence and careful consideration if it is worth.
Do note that I, being an owner of TGI, have a vested interest. So do not take my word for it. Do your own research first.
The trade forums and transfer logs of well-known resellers/speculators are a good way to check the current market prices as there is almost no info available in the open market. |

Hmm one thing that admins have to do is to return back the previous regulation of TGI ... just rent it ... :)
For diamonds for admins : they can still get them from building upgrades, just increase the numbers of the diamonds .. :) |

I sell my TGI to a lvl 4 player, who has LG 5 and deliberately saved up to buy it. Now i checked - he has 500k more than he had right after the purchase. so some people can fond the way to earn money, why do you think other can't? |

1.) There is no LG 10.
2.) LG level can be as low as 5 for someone to afford a TGI. Previously when the prices were at the lowest, even LG 3-4 could afford it.
3.) In case you meant combat level 10, combat level has nothing directly related to affording a TGI. Higher combat levels have higher expenses. The richest players are those who enroll, avoid work penalty, and don't fight. |
