is every afk in an ambush punisable as bad sportsmanship?

Plz explain the rules to me, it seems the keepers dont use a common benchmark and it is important for me as I thief much and therefore there are some regretable afks that happen and I am always sorry for them.
3.16. Staged combats leading one of the parties to losing a priori will be punished for. A staged combat by definition is one where any one of the parties or party members intentionally loses to the other for any reason different from having technical problems with access to the game. Instigation to losing a combat and promising to lose a combat is also forbidden.

| well AFK on its own is not punished but if its intentional then it will be. for example if you go AFK when your ambushing in min AP and meet a full AP player that looks intentional |
naapa is being childish. nobody made him wear full arts during travel, as well as nobody can make Alyna wait in front her PC for ambush to start.
I've watched the replay of their fight, I see no reason why anybody could consider that to be intentional. Alyna gained absolutelly nothing thanks to being AFK, quite contrary, she had to cope with -2 luck for next 2 hours. |

This should not be about past actions by the keepers. I only want to know where I stand when I ambush in the future.
btw, I am ambushed by an afk player this very moment. And I dont care. I know it happens. |

#6 you should have travelled without arts and you'd lose 0 gold :P
and I checked Alyna's combat log and it did not take too much time to find an ambush where she faced full arted opponent and... fought (and lost of course :) )! so I keep thinking it was just a coincidence. |

If it's obvious he was around in the first place. Like if he set up or made a move before 'disappearing' and without a proper reason and apology, then yes.
If the player was not around for the whole thing, it's hard to form a case that it was intentional (as opposed to accidental where she went to the restroom after clicking to travel from YL to GC and was in there for a...while..). |
so a thief is not allowed to go to the restroom after placing the ambush, knowing there is a chance might be triggered.
But a regular player is allowed to go to the restroom after starting to travel, knowing there is a chance he will be ambushed.

I always thought unless proper evidence a fine could not be given. In the past thiefs have never been fined for this. Did something change of which we are not aware? Since the rules are stil the same as far as I know |
| what i find very intresting after i started walk on fulls maybe 1,5month ago i hadnt before that got more than maybe 1-2 afks in 2,5 year and now suddently after starting use fulls amount of afkers have gone way different lvls.. |

At most you can only assume she AFK'ed on purpose because she knew she would lose. But assuming is no evidence. |
