Authordouble tracking
I looked into experience table and found out that in HG 6, there is something called double tracking. Shall we discuss this in this forum?

P.S : If this thread is inappropriate for this forum, move it to another forum
what is there do discuss ?? you get to choose between 2 creatures you want to hunt not really big discussion point..
Topic moved from "General game forum" to "Queries and help".
If you have some questions about it, you can ask them in Q&h.

So chance to fight two times of same creature. That is called double-tracking.

Its not about fighting the same creature twice. It is an ability to choose from two possible hunts. (130 monks OR 200 farmers for example)

It's also possible to get the same hunt for double tracking :P (example: 1000 goblins and 1000 goblins).

It is possible, but rare and quite useless. I didnt want to mislead people by bringing it up.
@11
It isn't so rare that it isn't worth bringing up :) It happens to me quite often...at least 12 times a year.

Cheers
As limustudotcom said, getting the same hunt for double tracking isn't all that rare. It happens pretty frequently to this player: https://www.lordswm.com/photo_pl_photos.php?aid=956
The point isnt how rare or not rare is it. I didnt want to bring it up because this kind of discussion and links provided give the image that having two hunts of the same kind is somehow important part of double tracking and could mislead players less fluent in english language into thinking(as seen above) that double tracking gives "the chance to hunt the same creature twice", etc..

So to sum up: Double tracking gives you ability to choose one of TWO hunts. If you cancel one of them, you cancel both. If you choose one, other disappears and you will get 2 new hunts each time. There is a chance about 1/150 to have a situation(interesting for some?) with 2 same hunts to choose from (for slightly different gold rewards).
So the gold rewards will be different with the 2 hunts?
The rewards are random within a given range. The range is higher for harder hunts. For example the range for 100 farmers is 50-125 gold and for 200 monks it is 100-200 gold. Although on average the monks would give more gold, there is a chance that a 100 farmer hunt can give more gold than a 200 monk hunt.
for MAH420:
So, as Pantheon has said, yes, the gold can be different.

If the range for say 1000 goblins is 150-200 gold and you get 1000 goblins as both your hunts, one of the hunts can be 150 and the other can be 200 gold.

The amount in no way hints at how the fight will be laid out (number of enemy stacks or terrain, etc). That's random and does not change the gold reward amount.
Interesting topic, QATC
