3-Players Hunts & Assistance in MG

1|2

Author3-Players Hunts & Assistance in MG
1) Well, with the hunting guild getting more and more impossible even for players who are at CL 15, I think a "3" players hunt (2 players joining to assist) can be implemented.

It will promote more teamwork and interaction. Players are able to choose whether to ask for assistance for 1 or 2 helpers. Maybe this option are only available at HG 6/7/8. The amount of FSP/HG points rewarded will have to be carefully balanced though.

2) Same as hunting, it will eventually reach a dead-end, so I guess team/assist mercenary quest can be considered. This may be more complicated to implement (Not too sure) But its always fun to have partners / helpers.

The way both mercenary guild quests and hunts scale eventually leads to a point where even the most skillful players cannot catch up with the number of enemy stacks. This could certainly help to move on to more difficult situations. The requirement in guild level would be a sufficient balance factor, in my opinion.

I like.Sometime we need a mate in Mercenary Guild .

I have run into a Mercenary quest or two where if I had the slightest bit of help it could've been done.

Same with me. The ones in which you have to escort a caravan,I generally lose with them keeping only 2-3 stacks of 5-6 creatures like forest keepers. This would have been done by just a single stack of a partner if it was present
-1 Even by implementing this you are only extending the dead-end by a certain amount which in my view is pointless

for nahdont:

well that's the whole purpose of this feature, isn't it? It makes many impossible battles "possible", and also encourage more team playing, player-player interactions rather than solo playing.

With 3 players, it actually generates even more strategies/tactics especially when it comes to 3 different races working together. (doing whatever best benefit the team at the right place & time.)

With the extension of the so-called dead-end, players will need a lot of time to reach the peak again, which in-turn wouldn't stuck top players with hunts and become bored of the game. This can be a players retaining factor for the game.

More players = more possible income(diamond) for the game = more features and upgrades = more players attracted to join/keep playing this game.

It actually also buy time for the game to come out with more features. Just my thoughts
+ for chars with higher guildlvl like 6 or 7

@ Lenora,

Ok well all of that is true and as i havent hit that peak yet i cant relate but for the sake of playing devils advocate,

Not only is it hard to come and find 1 person for hunt assists ( finding someone the same level in the same zone thats willing to use up thier arts for the chance of "finding an artifact") but now you have to find 2 when theres circa 200 - 800 people online?

Most people in hunts (unless you know them) dont do whats best for the team anyway and are always trying to get the biggest hit for more exp/fsp at the end of the game (In my experience so I doubt adding more people to the problem will solve anything but longer battles and more frustration.

With the introduction of lvl 15 and new monsters (albiet awile ago now) they have made hunts easier for the top end and although they may have reached the cap already, I say let it be as you cant just keep increasing it again and again, what after this 4 player hunts? 5 player hunts? I dont think that will be solving any issues, sometimes you gotta put the chocks in and slow it down.

As for buying the game time, anyone whos been playing this game for over a year would agree they've had plenty of time, but thats a whole different kettle of fish :)

I think its fine how it is :)

+1 : in MG .. only vs armies and invaders we can ask for help .. :) for the MG point, only initiator will get MG points, but the FSP will be divided like at HG .. :)
for nahdont:

Well the peak not only refer to CL 15, it also apply to anybody of other level. e.g. my wizard CL8 stucked at "vanguard of wizard {19}", so with this feature, it brings out and further your limit for your combat level, which maybe made {19}-{25} possible for CL8 wizard (with help).

At higher level, i think people usually have kinda a team or partner to work with, with regards to team hunt. Because a minor mistake at higher level battle can easily result in a loss. I think this feature will make people even more wanting to form teams/coalition for fights, be it training their skills or mutual benefits for fsp/hg. The main thing is it will serve the purpose of getting people to play together, not solo-ing. What retains a player to the game is not only the game features, it's also the player's friends whom he spend time with in game.

I agree to your point for the work admin had done to add in new monster, which indeed makes hunting easier =). But i think since PvP fights can already contain 3v3 battles, why not cap hunts at 3 players too? The same 3 people can do hunt together.

I am not sure about more than 3 players PvE as it will get very messy, I am sure there will be other solutions when the time comes. (when even 3-players hunt are impossible to win....would be a long time from now)

Thanks for your point though, we're all trying to improve the game =)
Well explained, thanks, I think with a bit of tweaking this could work
-1 You are lvl 6 and "think" for lvl 15. Reach first lvl 15 and after this see if is necesary.
.RU server have lvl 17 players and no need 3 players in hunt for this.
-1 -> plenty of threads like this and plenty of reasons why we shouldnt have "3-Players Hunts & Assistance in MG"
Great idea!
