Joining clan with same IP

1|2

AuthorJoining clan with same IP
Your desperateness for a mere loss of 500 gold shows your intentions and then you want people to believe you...

Keep your stupid opinions to yourself or else I'll be forced to speak up about your intentions here.

just offer him the invitation... it's not like you're gonna go broke, dude.

The thing is, I don't want to be unfair. Many have asked me to join the clan for lesser amount of gold. And I disagreed, saying that it was the same for all members, and will always be the same. Now, if I invite my brother for free, just imagine what my clan members will think about me? Telling them to pay up the whole thing and not taking a penny from my brother? i would rather not invite him than do such injustice to my members.

and no need to say stupid..
i am helping you.

believe it or not admins cant say if you are brothers or not.

ur brother and ur clan members belong to a different category,u have some special feelings for ur bro.

no offence but it doesnt make sense

thats what he is not understanding :)

I don't want him to give me special previleges either. If he does it, then its just like how real life ministers protect their children from getting a punishment by misusing their powers. And I don't want my bro to do it just because he's my bro. That's completely unfair to others in his clan.

It would make sense only to those who understand that for understanding what's right and wrong, relations shouldn't be a hindrance.

Ya, I know that, that's why I am not actually 'gifting' my brother. Just depositing it into the clan.
for killer_dash:
That is clearly a transfer through 3 rd party.

reasoN:

you gift it to a clan.vlaer owns the clan.
he gets advantage of it.
you have same IP.

so you have indirectly helped him.

That can easily be checked by admins. If you don't know, I would like to inform you that there is something known as clan log within a clan page which is open to anyone. And you can see that I rarely withdraw any gold from it. So if I ever use it for my own purposes, its so easy to be caught! Its the same as he transfers the gift to me! By the way, I am looking for a rule that prohibits it.

he gets advantage of it.

How do I get advantage if I put the whole gold into the clan? And as I said above, admins (or any of the thousands of players in lordswm) can very easily check if I have cheated.
If your clan grows it is you who in some way had advantaged as opposed to other clan leaders.

its a very indirect 3rd party transfer.

Why should I have any advantage? Making a clan doesn't give me any advantages. Not monetary, nor FSP bonus or something. And I am telling you, playing from same IP doesn't mean he's my multi. Its just like an ordinary player whom I know very much in real life and a best friend donated to the clan. Then no one would be having any problems. Also, I am not using it for myself, so there is no question of misuse.

Anyways, if you have no more points other than telling its a very indirect 3rd party transfer. please refrain from posting here. Thank you.
If you send him gold directly or indirectly via his clan funds (3rd party) then this will be considered same IP transfers.

You can both try and argue it as much as you wish but the facts will still be the same. You will have sent him/his clan gold.

If he doesn't want to upset his other clan members as he says then just dont join his clan. This is a much better option than to risk admin action.
vlaer,red-pois0n,i know whats going on between u too.im taking neither's side.

agreed.

and no offence,killer_dash and vlaer-u both r my good friends.

U"re debate is sincerely not making any sense
for killer_dash:

answer to your question in first post:

You can join his clan as far as the rules state. You just cannot make any transfer to his clan neither directly nor indirectly. For this reason such clan membership is kind of limited, especially as I see your brother clan is heavily gathering funds.

This rule is a precaution from financial assisting. There is no way around it. If one try way around and someone discovers it, one or all of accounts loging from same IP may get blocked, no matter how much efforts you gave into developing account so far.

there isn't a single rule that prohibits players from sharing same network and/or joining clans under the described circumstances.
