I found something interesting on the HOMM pages:
Death Wail: This creature can deal damage on all living enemy stacks within the range of 3 tiles from it. The damage amount depends on the particular enemy's Morale and its distance from the creature (activated ability).

Maybe some darkness wizards with the ability to ignore magic resistance and magical immunities :)
OR, well, when we fought the sentinels of the past (HoMM 6 factions), we didn't see the HoMM 6 necromancers. Maybe they survived somewhere in an underground crypt... |

Btw i guess we are going to get an altgrade of necro.
If i remember right, heroes in HOMM 5 had an ability, Banshee Howl.
It could fit nicely for altgrade.
Similar like benediction of holy knights, just with opposite influence.
Asha is a dragon goddess of Order.
Worshiped by many, for different aspects.
Only dark elves worship her spider aspect, i think.
There was a campaign with her in HOMM 5 Tribes of the East.
Dont know about HOMM 6, havent played it.
It seems to me it could be connected with Mastermind.
Asha is nor good nor evil, so her servants could interfere on either side, like Mastermind did in campaign against demons.
Asha despises demons as creations of her twin sister, Urgash, goddess of Chaos.
Altough, it is only our guess that "spider" is a pointer to Asha.
It could also point at Fuerlis and his spying network.
I think i saw somewhere on forum that admins spoke about next alt faction to be one of the oldest.

Well for instance death heralds, known as wraiths in HoMMV, they are described as "Death itself" or as an embodiment of death |

Not sure how this could be also. Fuerlis shouldn't be scared about something indead. Unless maybe it's some long forgotten "extreme" dark magic that makes his bones shake. Or maybe some undead masterlord that Fuerlis escaped long ago.
Or maybe Fuerlis has become more "human" since his ressurection, maybe his stink and paranoia aren't the only changes. |

"Known fact", Feurlis nodded, "You are all fastidious sissies not willing to soil your hands with it".
"That's one way to look at it", Sorish continued their duel of gazes, not even slightly offended by the undead's words. "But it is more about our history which we don't share much", he drove his eyes away. "There were episodes in our past that made us renounce the Darkness. Those pages of history are covered with gloom and horror".
I'm curious to know what made the wizards renounce the dark magic. It makes me ask "what could happen to them?". Will the wizards ever consider to "learn" it again? Maybe this can be a sing for a wiz altgrade. |
I'm thinking alt-grade mages with darkness and chaos magic. Obviously no holy, maybe nature?
In regards to Feurlis, he had a contingency plan to be reanimated as an undead if he died. The willingness to turn in to an undead and the ickyness associated shows a huge fear of death. Magical fear does not effect undead. The fear of their existence ending, that does. Whatever Feurlis saw waa something that gave him ordinary terror, no magic needed. |

Well,Arctic did say that Mastermind's hand in the venomancers surge was not yet revealed..so there could be something like that..
Feurlis being scared..considering he is undead..can it pave way for Magic Guild lvl 5 ;perhaps a spell that affects undead too ? |
