The spell makes target stack of enemy creatures forget what they are doing on the battlefield. Part of the stack's creatures do not retaliate or shoot. The spell does not affect Undead, Elemental and Mechanical creatures.
Stack's ranged and retaliation damage is reduced by an amount depending on the caster's Darkness magic talent level. |

yes
as example, if a stack of xbow deal 100 damage to your troops.
with expert dark magic and you cast confusion on them, the final damage will be 30.
in addition, their retaliation in melee will also decrease by 70%. |
Also, retaliation and ranged attack don't stack. Meaning, if a succubi retaliates back at you, it will deal 70% less damage.
Melee Penalty for shooters stacks normally (85% damage reduction total when a shooter retaliates in melee) |
what happens when a stack with confusion hits something with evasion?
is it 0.7*30 = 21 damage for normal 100 ? |

wooow that is pretty strong i may even invest in exp.darkness just for that effect
