The problem of being poor is very common in newbies .Everywhere 1000 - 2000 only is very rare.here are a few tips for having a steady income of gold:-
1.Never ever ever play roulette it has spoiled many characters .
it has even made people just abandon the account with frustration.
I did it myself.
2.Level 1 - 4 is your main period of hunting. because you don't need any
equipment nor do you have any other ways.
3.Laborers guild is the main income of the game.all you have to do is type a 6 digit code and you get 185 gold.
4.Probably no one knows this except a few but in the empire capital
in the diamond repository the wage is 300 gold. People just grab
the vacancies like anything.So wait until its hour is about to end.
5.The game starts with like buying resources from mining and selling them to machining and production.(Those who didnt understand this look at 6. below)
But buying them from market and then selling them is better.
for example: wood cost in mining : 185
wood cost in market : 175
wood demand : 185
you save 10
6.If you don't understand selling and buying resources the read this:
You can buy resources like wood for 180 gold.
You can sell them at other facilities in the production or
machining tab on the map.For making a sword in a factory
you need some wood.You can sell them your own wood for 185 gold
the profit is 10 or 5 gold and is slow, but it is a good
income.
7.In level 5 you need equipment to fight.yes it sucks but it is
necessary.and also upgrades.For almost all factions it is
somewhere around 25,000.It seems impossible but if you get
185 gold per hour,buy the required resources then you will be fine.

8.HUNT OFTEN AND NO ROULETTE. |

9. Always play easy battles on minimum costy AP of your level. (yeap, not all same-AP builds cost the same, be sure to use the cheapest combination of artifacts to achieve the AP lower bound). |

7.About upgrades:-as you can see on my character page that i already have
lots of wood and some sulfur.This is to upgrade my bandits to poisoners.
Upgrades help in combat and play a vital role in victory.People who want them
should start collecting resources from level 3 for level 5 like how i am
doing now.

For Lord Hallion91 i forgot to mention that point.
Best equipment is the most cheapest one but an
Amulet of Luck should be worn in player vs player.

My 2 cents to this guide :)
XX) If you want to play as diamond donator , the best way you can invest your money is buying with diamonds the upgrade troops.
This way you will save tons of gold and get better troops one level before making more easy to do the battles in that level and you spend less gold in arts for hunts , hg , etc. |

You are completely right but in dark elf or barbarian or etc the diamonds are 20 or 15 for shrews or wolf raiders which is 20$.20$ are a bit costly.Like me i am 13 years old.I have to ask my parents their credit card number and all etc....by that time I probably found something new to buy.And also the shortcuts just aren't fun.Like skip to new rogues kill all players in the battlefield in a glimpse.Duels will be like a level 20 vs level 1 or no one will even join it.
Well it will all be a piece of cake like the offline Heroes of Might and Magic 5
but sometimes you will like to have something else than cake right?:) |
i gave into my desire and sold all my resources and bet it in roulette.i am bankrupt now :( this is an example to all of you.
i will probably abandon this account now.its useless.
maybe i will return in the future in another account.

While you keep giving up easying you never will achive anything or reach anywhere...
The easy path doesn't make winners, only the hardest difficult teach us how to survive and adapt.
You should calculate your risk on gambling and why you're doing it.
You'll have 49% chances to win a roullete beating on red/black colour each time you roll, but why you're exactly doing this on first time?
If you're doing this to buy a new building or new equipament you'll have 49% chance to win it, or lose which will make you lose twice time to reach that again, so before bet should know what you're trying to do first.
And of course you can never win forever, if you bet all your money without know what shit you're doing and win money, you'll bet again and again and again until lose everything, and if you lose on first time will have a stupid excuse to bet again to "recover" the lost money...
The chances are always favorable for losing, because if you don't know on first place why you're beting, you have to do it forever, and you can't win forever with 49% chances on you side, soon on later you will lose, and when you lose will be everything.
I don't hope you understand what I've write, so I'll put in other words.

but you have more winnings than bets :) So overall the roulette was a good thing for you.
advice for newbies - usually you lose on roulette, don't touch it if you want more gold ;) |
| I think roulette is not a bad way to earn money. Ofc you have to play it with logic and also have a little luck! |
