Auction bid intensity

AuthorAuction bid intensity
I did not post it in complaints forum for possible script use because I don't know much about this matter.

When I participate in an auction in the market. The moment I make a bid, I am outbidden by another player.

Now it is possible that he keeps hitting minimal possible bid button but when I make a bid of an amount little higher than the price going. I still get outbidden instantly.

For e,g,: an artifact auction price currently is 100 gold. Next min. bid is say 103 gold and I bid 200 gold. Still I get outbidden instantly.

How is this possible? Is this a possible script use or something else? How do I tackle it if any solutions exist?
C. Instant raising of bids in the market is not a cheat, but a peculiarity of auction mechanics. You can check it here: https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=27

Correct me if i'm wrong but if im not mistaken this is how the auction works, for me I initially had such difficulty understanding how that auction mechanics works but after a while you'll get the hang of it.

For e,g,: an artifact auction price currently is 100 gold. Next min. bid is say 103 gold and I bid 200 gold. Still I get outbidden instantly.

Ok the artifact is currently at 100 gold and the next bid allowed is 103 gold, which you bid 200gold, but another player could have bid 500gold but unknown to you, (well its an auction) and naturally your bid 200gold is lower than 500gold and hence the other player has "outbid" you.

Such as the link bottom, notice the timing between andrejmironov and mine bid. Initially I bid 6000gold which he responded by bidding 7050, unknown to me that his bid was 7050, I bid 7000gold, which is 50golds lower than his, hence his bid outbidded mine. And for clarity purpose I bid 7500 on that aritfact but it only shows 7121, it would should what is the next amout biddable and not how much the player has bid.

I guess you could always try bidding till your bid is the highest bid and if you're lucky you'll be the only bidder and there won't be anyone else.Hope I help and did not cause any further confusion!
Indeed it is all working correctly.

You enter the highest amount you want to pay but it only initially shows the lowest amount needed to become highest bidder. If someone else bids less than your highest amount the the system automatically and instantly increases your displayed bid by the lowest amount possible above other persons bid to keep you as highest bidder.

When you bid above what the other person entered as their highest bid then you would become new high bid.

As an example, you could enter 5, 000g in an auction but at end if others don't bid you could end up buying for just say 100g (or anything else between 1g to 5, 000g).
Im having trouble understanding the concept.
When i bid any random amount how the other players bid is just a next minimum acceptable bid at the very instant i click the bid button?
Because the had previously already bid a higher amount.

The system is just automatically increasing their displayed bid to keep them as highest bidder.

Either re-read the previous replies here or ask someone who understands English to translate them for you.
*Because THEY had
Player A post an auction with starting price 1g. Player B bids 500g there. The minimal next bid will be 4g, but the total gold bidden there is 500g. Then, you go there and bid 200g, you are instantly outbidded because Player B bid is higher than yours.

And to add : each time someone bids (a higher value than W and lower than X), W gets the new value.
Ok I got it now. I perceived it all wrong the first time. Thx for the answers :)
