Can anyone tell me the use of this changing button in watchers guild?
u can change quest once if u don't like it

for Atheros:

i don't know how powerful that ballista is, but i would've probably try it again using tactic talent and pin both sharpshooter with dreadlords.

I think it will help however, and certainly better than nothing. Attack of 80 is higher than your dragons, so will hit as hard as 2-4 dragons, nothing to sneer at, and of course no retal - good for the boss.

The problem with tactics is that the unis move before the sharp shooters and will hit death lords rather hard, rendering that strtegy a little limited.

Firstly I would put skeletal legionnaires next to balista and tent to get defence bonus, this should be enough to keep it alive as they only just killed it last time (196 damage) to 192 hp I think.

secondly it may be beter to have a more ranged based army to deal with the no retal issue of the boss

this will only save the tent as second sharpshooter will shoot the ballista again

Oh I get that, I was simply thinking of putting some liches into the mix - either as ranged bait, or for the darkness spells

That coupled with a strike fro your dragons to knock down morale and you could knock them down sufficiently to kill them in time. Dreadlords in the corner can probably clear up everything else gven enough time, so basically aim is to whittle down trees and unis to a level where they cannot hurt the dreadlords sufficiently to allow them to heal themselves.

Only other way I can think of getting boss down without loads of damage is through a large stak of skeletal legionnaires and stun, but I don;t think that likelt the way to go.

Certainly it would be a lot lot easier with classic necro, do we know whether this battle has been beaten with just a necro classic or otherwise, or with your class of necro?

I wonder If I take errand at 1 star ( 0.5 watcher guide point) and stop ( do nothing more) ,
what is different with if I can have 3 stars

I think the difficulty only increases with Watchers Guild level, your win/lose rate or number of stars gained does not influence this.10.

Then the difficulty can only progress a certain way irrespective, it may simply be that that as you go to a higher watchers guild, the battles you face are ones that were won by better people in the first place.

That quest would be pretty easy with normal necro actually.

I would propose to delay the boss with hero, have expert sorcery and the usual nature magic and to try to play around with wasp swarm.Killing all and just leave the boss alive.
It would be pretty good to let the boss get to you, delay + wasp swarm, run with other troops forward and let it fight a full stack of polters, just keep raising them so he doesnt come back to you.

Its all theoreticall, but its something I guess...

Could someone explain how near mid of the battle the AI shrews, 2nd stack from bottom the one that becomes a stack of 20 after I shoot it, could keep reaching my top stack shrews but my top stack shrews could not reach it back. Is this some kind of AI bug?

Azure Dragons are bomb O.o Now that's what Dragons are supposed to be like... Not like Crystal Dragons, getting one hit KO'd by any stack.
It seems allready 0,8 points a win has become the standard before even reaching level 1 of it, I sense 0,5 points becoming standard pretty soon. And yes, I am playing full AP.
Upon releasing they said that all were tested to be beatable for three stars. Since practicly every combat level has like a zillion battles of it, yeah that came off really believable.
Is the gold reward proportional to the difficulty of the battle? For exemple, I have a 900 gold three portal heroes and a 1000 gold one, should I expect less troops in the 900 gold one or is it just the effect of randomized gold reward (950 +/- 50 gold)?
