Also I would like to give you a friendly reminder: next time when you compare two players' skill, try to use some other parameters and try your best to avoid using the %win quota. The comparison you just made will only explain why your skill meed to be improved

This is my last reply to you. My intention is only to point out some fact but seems useless. I get your whole point of guilds, old player advantages and AI hero strength and blah blah, but they all sounds to me like excuses. Your are responsible to find a way to build your character, that's all about this game
Focus on improving the other guilds before start the new one is always an option.
i also have bad guilds for my level, but i doont find the AI to be that difficult.

plus i believe when facing an AI skill and tactics is much more important then guild level.

Lol of course liuker's win rate is lower than yours, he's played much more TG and PvP, which is where most of the losses come from - losing hunts/mg is very rare.

Actually my CG duel and Minor tournament winning rate is higher than my overall winning rate. Most of my loss are because of TG. But Mr. Lawton probably doesn't care
@revolutionrebel, as always keep up your condescending while avoiding any given point or adding any kind of argument either for or against it, it suits you really well.

@liuker, the time of registering ones account has zero to do about how the current AI system is unfair for people that are just starting to do guilds.

Odd how you keep saying my skill needs to be improved without even explaining why or giving any touchable argument about it. And for your information win quota has everything to do about ones skill in every game or sport, it's clear you are delusional since you keep on running around my given fact as well without giving any kind of argument against or even for it, so keep on ignoring it on your high horse. As they say ignorance is bliss. Also the fast elevator remark was how you gained your guild levels of 8 with the old easy AI system, try gaining them now from scratch, you wouldn't even reach half of it. And still you failed to even comprehend that.

You get it meaning you understand my point but it all sounds like excuses? You do realise that you just contradicted yourself here?

It still remains a fact that the admins have not designed the new AI system to always be a few steps above the actual player playing that battle but instead made the AI always to be a few steps above the exceptionable players no matter which actual player the AI faces. The first option would have made it challenging for all players, while the latter chosen option only makes it challenging for the few and impossible for the rest.
Odd how so far none of the repliers have adressed this issue and kept on dancing around it.

Ah ok, anyway I was speaking generally, i.e. most people usually get the bulk of their losses from TG and PvP. But of course, if you're really good, you can have a high PvP win rate :)
As Moderator: Please avoid further discussions which may lead to problems. We are all here to enjoy the game.

As a fellow player: The AI systems are changing rapidly and now the new one in my experience looks more dump... they change it all the time and it feels great for me to have some challenges.

as for this new guild in my experience: 1 of 3 is usually hard and the 2 others is 1 normal and 1 easy.the refresh button helps sometimes to change the hard one. So, I am enjoying it. I can easily see that a multi faction player who has a lot of gold can easily get all the 3 stars by choosing the correct faction after looking at the names of the fights. It is just another guild, so I was expecting some challenges in it. I am again switching between talents and recruit types and it helps a lot.

now as a point I like every one to know about the game: we all should increase all our guilds the best we can. The Win Ratio, specially in PVP, is according to the guild points. I can easily see the effect of 1 extra attribute in many battles. Trying to learn how to play correctly in this game is important even if you are a first class world player with multiple international game trophies. What I am enjoying in the game now is that with my stats my win ratio is quite high in all combats. I do had a lot of help from other players like Niranjan, Mohini, eddy_Imannuel and ... to learn how to play the PVP correctly and i feel that i am a challenge for most players. dont get me wrong i have a lot more to learn and do a lot of mistakes but I am really enjoying it and want all to feel the same.
Personally I think has drifted from the theme of this thread. To me what matters with the Watchers guild is that the battle is winnable by someone. Obviously if this someone is only a very select number of players this would be pretty unfair. So far however I have not seen any battles in the Watchers guild that were not winnable. I have come across ones that were not winnable by me (all you have to do is look at recent combat log to see a string of losses against the same army of necromancer smugglers where I decided to test out the difficulty). However, I have not cried out that it was unfair, or cheater AI, or anything else. It is simply my character stats are insufficient to win - if I was faction level 9 or 10 and had the relevant runes - coupled with some luck (luck triggers, morale bursts, his vs misses) it is very winnable.

To my mind it matters less if the hero had too high stats, or a very large number of creatures, what matters is if you could have won. If as a community we can find a statistically significant number of battles which no one can come up with a tactic likely to win for a hero of appropriate guild and faction levels for their combat levels then those decrying it is too hard have a point. If thee battles cannot be furnished, then in my mind they do not.

So your challenge - if you think you have faced an unwinnable battle post it here for judgement.

Red demon relies on overunnign you, with too many stacks to counter at once and lots of stacks with high iniative. You cannot kill enough quick enough, while a large stack of wardens is only good at killing one stack at a time, no good at taking multiples.

My suggestion would be a defensive build, wardens in the corner and griffins defensing next to them to use wild reflexes. Then use your other units to take out cerberi and reduce other stacks to a point where they cannot hit too hard in one go. I believe that is likely to do the trick - certainly I have seen this work for someone in thieving very nicely (check out the most interesting battles thread on thieves forum- few pages back - I think Arcancide (probably mispelled his name - am doing this from memory)

Actually it's quite unlikely to face some battle that are completely impossible to win. The difficulty of each type of combat for each faction has been massively tested by admins already - that's the reason why we get events almost every other week in the previous 5 months. All of the new event battles now go to WG. The difficulty has already been tuned.
Nobody said that is was not unwinnable, but made an actual valid point and observation about how "fair" the current AI has become for new players that have yet to do the guilds, but do keep on dancing some seem to like the tune.
And only a gullible person would believe that the difficulty of each type combat has been tested for every faction and its sub from combat level 3 all the way to combat level 21 in the watchers guild. They do like they have always done so far, release it and then see how it goes on the russian forum and keep on finetuning from there, even this will take months. Which is fine by me since testing it would be a herculian task with the current 16 classes with nearly unlimited different battles, just the 229 different mob bosses alone which is almost 3664 battles per combat level would take months. The game is still in a test fase anyway untill all the subclasses of every faction has been released to make the game complete, even then there will always be room for another entirely new faction.

I am playing with Min AP for watcher guild for now (previously full AP)
I now win 1 star mostely, and some 2-3 star.
I rarely lose, and if I lose, I wear full AP and get 3 star.
*I don't even have TGI, so AI always faster than me*

After I know my enemies in the lose, I could just change my tactic.
I always changing my tactic for different battle, changing talens, troops, etc...
example, against wizzard hero, get tactic and 20% magic shield talent.

I think you could just create by some heading say
"New AI effect in game" for discussion of new AI in any battle.
"PVP orientated character" for PVP character imporvement

Everyone will be glad to assist you in any tactic

About the initiative thing: I am pretty sure when I was combat level 14 I could get my GBM to 13 initiative. And I used to be fsl 9 or 10 there. I also remember almost all my pvp mates (PenTus, Ranor, SonMike, Bareonchen, Woodbox, Vitovt) used to have at least 12.5 initiative with their shooters, who have standard 10 initiative. And none of us used to be fsl above 10 at that time. So yes, 12.5 at level 14 for something with base 10 sounds pretty normal to me.

I can say it without doubts because everybody who know me from old .com server know I spent almost all the combat level 14 on commanders guild. And watching the other's shooters initiative always was vital to me :)

Q) what kind of WG battle (type) gives you 3 star easily ?

for me i seen :-
3 portal heroes gives easy 3 star

also form last two days i got 3 star from pirate battle (one necro other holy)

some type of necro battles but not all

as an elf i feel tough for boss battle and some smuggler and DE/mage vault battle. they gives me 1-star usually

dont rush from every side in the first round when facing pure might enemies, it is suicide.
lure one or two stacks and kill them one by one, this is the principle of unholy necro.
for Poison Ivy:
it is pure random, regardless of faction, since quests are those finished by someone(the same level and faction with you) in the events before, maybe multiplied by a difficulty factor relative to wg level(we may find this true or false once someone reaches wg level 1). this is why the quests must be locked once you try it with a faction(and alt class).
therefore, the difficulty of the quest for you is only depended on your power and luck. if you faced a quest done by a hardcore player in a hard battle, it would be very difficult for you. but we must notice that no quest is impossible to win, for they are all won by someone else before.

I think that one is from the survilurgs caravan event, I actually think that I have beaten it ;O
Yeah VERY HARD for a might build, pretty easy with firewall build and stuff. I always do the smugler quest with magic unholy.
This topic is long since last update and considered obsolete for further discussions.
