Fined for a "Penalty"?

AuthorFined for a "Penalty"?
i am now curious if prigo78 is getting his art back or not.
no, why dont you guys just read the rules
for LORDKUSHU:
i know the rules and i know that when posting a lot it always tells u to make sure to double check. 250k is insanely lot to lose. in that case, is there a rules that states he cant keep a profit that big? the one who should really be fined here is the empire xD
3.17. The Administration does not take responsibility for the unreturned debts and does not guarantee compensation in case of swindling by other players; as well as in case if the debtor has been blocked. When a loan is not returned in time, (the time must be written in the transfer logs, no more than a month) the swindler will be imposed a penalty of a sum twice as much. If the term isn't posted in the transfer logs, the penalty will occur 1 month after the loan transaction. The creditor does not get compensation.

This rule shall apply in this case and I wont argue with you any further since I now know the reason you are here

"C. Instant raising of bids in the market is not a cheat, but a peculiarity of auction mechanics."

I read the rules, and again, I have done nothing wrong in the market trade. I found a low price and sold it higher. Then i get cheated out of my sale...

Also i did mail prigo78 about this, i thought you would have the mail since everything else is exposed. If theres a way i could post them tell me and i will.
Instant raising of bids in the market is not a cheat, but a peculiarity of auction mechanics

This is for auction system. In this system real bid is not revealed until you outbid it.
For eg. I bid 10k, the bid wont reveal 10k to you. It can for eg. say 1k and you bid 1100, then it will say you have been outbidded and bid will then show 1500 or something. It will keep occuring until you bid more than 10k.

It is forbidden to buy items for too low or too high than current market prices.
Auctions are an exception
you really huld close this now, it has been explained why you are in -ve gold.

in simple terms it is a highly suspicious transfer (innocent mistake or not) so admins bought the artifact themselves and removed your profit, no harm done to you really.

and the extra fine is because of obvious financial assist with an unsigned multi.
This rule shall apply in this case and I wont argue with you any further since I now know the reason you are here
who is arguing with you? i am just asking you whether what he did is illegal or not. rule 3.17 has nothing to do with him, he is not loaning. i just couldnt find any rule that officially states what he did is illegal, so i am asking you why would they just fine him for not breaking any official rule? and more importantly whats "the reason i am here for"? well i am here because i often comment in the forums, u got a problem with that? i didnt even say anything wrong, let alone arguing with u, and now u r offending me for no reason? u clearly imply it has something to do with my fine. bro u have got a problem.
Can you give some example please : I cannot remember the players involved but have seen this happen (discussed in forums) at least twice before. once for an estate where the original owner had the estate returned to them and another time for a max enchanted weapon. On both occaisons the player who tried to profit from the mistake had their 'profit' from the trades removed.

Maybe someone else will remember more details of these or other transactions and post them here.

re: this thread :-

warider did not make any profit from this art but also importantly did not make any loss. Others have transferred the cheap art back directly to the original seller for a small profit, e.g. 5k - 20k ish profit and the admins seem to accept this as reasonable and not take any action. Of course this could just be because they were not aware of it so no guarantee for future trades. Most likely the original seller did not bring it to their attention and accepted this relatively small loss as they got to keep their art and relist it for the correct price.

The only fine imposed here was because of the illegal transfers from warider's additional character to his main which he admitted above and has always been illegal since I started playing many years ago and is clearly covered by the rules. I guess he should be grateful he did not receive a block and -47k is not overly difficult to recover from.
for #27 : I would say it is this rule which applies When buying game items from other characters, the prices mustn't differ too much from the average market prices.
for DEATHisNEAR:
thanks buddy ;)
i couldnt find that rule, but that clearly makes it much clearer :)
i think the question is pretty much answered now so topic should be closed:)
All relevant rules:

1.6. The Administration has a right to control and interfere into the game process when the situation requires it.

1.13. Financial assist is forbidden in all aspects of the game. Financial assist is a dedicated assistance of one character to another in any way meant to increase the possessions of the latter.

3.8. The fact of logging multiple characters in the game from one computer must be by all means shown in the "character information" of all those characters with explanation of reason (relatives, friends, playing from a computer club etc).

3.9. Additional characters created for any kind of support to the main one ("extrachars" later on), (e.g. resource and artifact keeping, trading, assists in combat or finance) are forbidden. All extrachars found will be blocked, and the owner will be subject to penalty or block.

3.10.1. If you register an additional character, you are bound to show that in the opening line of the "character information" of both, commenting who is the main character and who is the additional one. Just the line "I've got another character" or "This is an additional character" is not enough. Indication of nicknames of them all is obligatory. Additional characters who aren't signed will be blocked on sight.

3.10.2. Main character is held responsible for additional characters' actions.
@18: Can you give some example please
