man, the first part is for all factions. You cannot see last ST prizes for one faction and compare with that.
If i am not mistaken, it should have been 400k*9 = 3.6 mil as compared to 2.8 mil this time. |

If it was specifically for knight faction, then 1st player would have got 200k gold :P
50% of main prize goes to gold medal..
But he got - (400k/9)*50% = 22,222 gold
2017-01-17 03:25: Received 22222 gold from Empire: Achieved high ranking in the 199th Survival tournament among combat level 16 participants, faction Knights! First place. +10 HG points.
Similarly for this ST, gold medalists will get (1kk/9)*50%
Which means 55k gold..
Although main attraction is 3.8kk incentive prize :)
I suppose if you get gold medal this 200th ST, you will get around ~120-130k gold.. while during last STs its hardly 40-50k |

The incentive would not at all be that big wind rider... you are not accounting for the fact that easily 7 times more ppl will participate... making the incentive not matter much.
The rewards are ok but not nearly as good as new faction survival tournaments. |
