There are A LOT of messed up things in the game if you know what I mean, nobody can deny it.
The game is dying, and developpers cant stop it, I could write down a list of things everyone mentions should be fixed/implemented or whatever, which will never happen for sure.
This game could be so much more, and have x3 the players Online it has now, but only by doing major changes. I freak out everytime I see a good suggestion in the InS Forum which I know wont be implemented.
I came back from leaving LWM and have played 4 months or so now after leaving, and Im thinking of taking another break tbh.
PS: The most simple proof that this game could be a huge thing is that there were 12K Online players in an Event which brang nothing new, just copied from years ago.
So much potential lost. Maybe its just what I think, but apparently there are others with a similar opinion. | The game changed, went from MC wars to this constant activity race 24/7.
So this feature replaced another feature I was looking forward too.
Also I did what I did to help my clan and the people I care for. I know people in your clan also do deference because they want to help out and not because they feel they are fun, some even hate them. So even if you are not forced you do things you dont like to help people day in and day out. That contributes to ruin the game for some who dont like the constant activity raceI completely agree khel thats why you dont see me running off to some other war clan like our old team,
Fact is even though on .com we had dark ages we had fun something to look forward to, frankly i lost interest after people like Kotrin, PetitEtMechant, ZenomXZ, Arctic left the game...( god i have so many more to list) and all those semi actives robai, shebali, AV dan.... you get my point? we had 1000 players online at a point of time, it was like being in a family,
now...
The problem is, if everyone can win easily, then winning is not that rewarding, and this game will soon be boring
exactly the game has become a race, life is a race sort of behaviour from admins, who rely on american english btw since all words like behaviour honour etc are marked red... then why not keep the server in america itself and get sued why run off to phillipines ( old players know what i am talking about... heroeswm--> lordswm etc) they claimed its for to change the game and take it to the next level... all that the game has given is

I dont recall where but some where in this thread itself i think some one claimed that its one of the only games thats not directly pay to win.... LOL ( Laughing out loudly for all those moderators(in humble sense) who keep banning this word for some random insensible words...no disrespect meant but have seen better ones around[ kotrin pang skunder merchant shebali sry ] etc who did not issue punishments for lol) back to the pay to win point.... well it is directly a pay to win...you pay to stay in the race, you pay to win, you pay to have fun... imho that sucks, in most of the games where you can pay to win there is an equivalent to reaching that level on hard work, which is not years, which is not slogging, which is not acting like a drone.... you talk about strategy, well there is limited scope and you know it if you have played the real Homm series,
Another point i would like to mention is some one said, in this thread again i think, or some where close by but on Lordswm .com server, ofc admins will charge more if the players reduce to half then to stay on break even they need to charge double.... people should not steal games it happens in lower ( UND AND D ) countries where people use pirated stuff or dont pay this causes the game to go bankrupt.... THIS GAME IS ONE OF THOSE STOLEN THINGS LMAO(Again a silly ban will be issued for all caps / a.k.a. shouting) reminds me of a story of a rich spoilt brat prince punishing everyone in his kingdom who said anything against him ( hint hint)
So back to my point... people lose they pay they win... thats how the game is designed... no scope for creativity... no scope for breaking the meta... no scope for skill ....its in binary 1 or 0 ( you know HOMM fans that i speak the truth) have and have not etc.

its become a no money no fun. back on .com before merge it was fun ... dark ages but fun... at least for most of us .... since it was like a family ... now no more :(

technically yes most Russians are rude i have a record of 3 nice met to 103 bad met since i myself speak a bit broken Russian i do get what they intend... as opposed to a ban by one of the mods again some where in the last 4 days... there is a freedom of expression i remember that opposing a community should not be legally allowed.... but.

And just my two cents as opinion dont take it personally.... like we shouldnt take a money hounding stolen game run as russian has servers in a third country where admins absolutely pay no attention to subjects and hound us with tons of rules, with no real benifit out of it... who dont reward back players for thier money which was stolen by someone else( unpaid loans etc ... since we are comparing the game with real life any how.... well in real life there is recovery ... mighty greedy royal we have here or set of royals ( dual kingship lol pun intended)

Currently there's a clan war between several Russian clans. | ANTI-hacker i don't get one thing, was .com is more creativity or more fun? i know how people scream there when dark age comes, i know some demi-god players in .com left game after merge because they are no more god like (only some exceptions players like CoW or RR and some others who accepted new merge wold challenge and won the challenge)
after going through your big post i understand your main problem is your guys(friends/fellows)who you called family left and you feel lonely.And most importantly you can't leave this damn game like they left :)
i know most of them (which you named in your post) they are good players,nice peoples,but allegations are there for some of them(don't try argue me)

Payment only accelerates things, which is how all "free to play" games are currently. | Freedom of expression - Free to criticise and free to disagree, nothing like a bit of healthy discussion.
At the end of the day however everyone reading this plays this game and actions speaks louder than words - whether rightly or wrongly these self same persons (ie you reading ths (yes YOU)) has decided that in the choice between playing this or not - that playing it is what they would prefer.
Yes you can access everything without paying in theory - in practice the time required to do so is prohibitive so you have to balance your playing style that those with deep back balances may not. However that is just life. It is right and correct taht the people who run it make money - it is rare for someone to do their job for free. Whether the profits they make are exorbitant or not I do not know, however they are called donations for a reason, there is no requirement for them. The sustainability of this game is based upon the sustainabilit of the profits for the admins - cost gain of how much effort they have to put in versus money coming out. This is keeping enogh of the people happy with things to keep the player base sufficient - coupled with enough motivation and stimulus to donate. Many (such as myself) never have, nor never will donate. I recognise that with no advertising, the sustainability of this game is soley based on those people who do donate. I am happy that they have a dsistinct advantage over me, it keeps the game going. I then get a beter distinct advantage over them (higher real life back balance).
So for all its sins (and there are many, dont get me wrong). One has to remember that it is just normal people running it to make a living. They are free to make the decisions they want just as much as we are in playing it. And they are aware, more so than even we are, of how much they need to balance the happiness of the players versus the money they get from it to justify effort into it. I can well imagine that for many of them implementing too many developments is just not financially worthwhile them doing it - they may as well get a part time job and make money from that rather than having the risk of spending that time employing someone to do artwork, or else just losing that time directly themselves. Whatever you may think about this, I doubt it rakes in that much money for the most part, when you take away any running costs. IF it did, logic would suggest that they
would advertise more to make more.
So my advice - take a deep breath, accept it for it sins and pros and involve yourself in it to whetever level you feel inclined- you will unlikely never get your ultimate dream of perfection or even far less than this. And eventually Flash will fizzle out and it will be over (if not before) | It's not perfect (what is anyway?) but I still think that the advantage of donating isn't that obvious. There are DU and ABC that make a difference; for the rest, in most battles enchantments and events arts aren't allowed, so there's no need to invest a million in a rare full enchant set to enjoy the game.
I wondered when ABC was implemented, wether or not I wanted to keep playing with a disadvantage over people who donated. I came to the conclusion that I might loose more than someone with ABC, but in the end, it doesn't matter because I can still enjoy the game, moreso than restricting myself as would a vexed spoiled brat. I meant a war like there was on .ru before the merge. I have only heard stories, but it should have been great. When it was official that they would not be done anymore many lost interest/hope.
The facilities battle now are frankly boring. This game could be so much more. It is truly a shame :o( | This game could be so much more.

I am sorry guys, maybe I am missing something, but other thing than Diamond Upgrades, I can't see anything worth to spend real money here. Even diamond upgrades are not essential. I got it only at level 15, and I was almost leveling up. My opnion? I would have waited without problems. There was those special artefacts, like the Sword of Cold, but well, there were too many of it on market that I doubt it is really necessary to spend money with it. My own sword of cold was bought with in game money, btw. Was it expensive? Yes, it was. But still...
So, what is left to drain your rich real money here and allow us to tag this game as a "pay to win"? Exchanging diamonds for gold? Oh, come on... it is more a question of luxury than necessity... | If this game is "pay to win", then you can hardly find any other online game that is not.

Buy a full enchant rare set, then go for GBs/Duel and try it on.

I'm sitting on top of 2k mercenary missions and 17k enrolls - like lots of players. I chose to have 6 castles and a couple enchanted arts, but it could have been the rare set you talk about instead.

Let's compare both ways.
Without donate = A few years to gather millions to purchase rare set, then a few more millions to enhance it.
With donation = A few seconds to purchase diamonds, then a few more seconds to convert diamonds into gold, and finnaly a few more seconds to track an offer which either way has to find firstly.
So let's compare, years against seconds... Well... It's all the same thing, right?
Because one year doesn't has 31.104.000 seconds, and we aren't talking about multiple years which could lead easily to 80.000.000+ seconds, against what? 60 seconds? Yeah, it's all the same, all the freaking same.

Having a rare enchanted set as a normal players doesnt bring any benifits anyways, besides equipping them and looking cool, as you cant use them in most battles...maybe only for renting, but I doubt you can go cheaper than a rich MC with the rent prices.
You are only lvl8, we must be looking from a diferent angle at it. Spend your gold on your castles and dont worry. That's my point, normal players aren't meant to hold one of these, but a donator can acquire one in a matter of seconds. A set like this, full enhanced, would definitely break completely the balance of the combat into a Duel/GB battle, meaning it's pay to win, as long the consumer donates enough.
I'm not looking forward any rare set by the way, I just mentioned it as a base or argument, for those who claim there isn't any pay to win in here. Gladdy it can't be used in CGs, that's a big relif. | For those who genuinely are whining because of the 'Diamond' aspect of this game, you expect a Game with constant Updates that too innovative ones and also you want it to be rewarding, meh. We keep forgetting Diamonds are what's keeping this game running, I rather always thank all the Donors for it's due to their constant donations that the admins have a monetary incentive to keep this game running. The best part about this game is, except for a DU, that too at a single level, there is nothing that can put you at a disadvantage,
And in all honesty the game was ridiculously boring before merge. Even I've been around since quite a long time now and I have no clue what fraternity and brotherhood existed in .com, because none of that matters. I play this game for 'The Game' and not for Social Networking, we got better websites for that. Specific players leaving or joining the game has absolutely NIL impact on my game at least. Rather I'm much happier playing with .ru who have more serious gamers as compared to .com.
Ofc this game has much more potential, but it's not like we are getting absolutely nothing. Much better than .com times imho. |
