As we know, Unfettered cyclops ( https://www.lordswm.com/army_info.php?name=untamedcyc ) cost 33 CoT, I finally have Great tribal cyclops https://www.lordswm.com/army_info.php?name=mega_cyclopus&crc=a1f5aa07, while their cost is 63 CoT, which is still OK. Their advantage agaonst Unfettered is +1 speed and +1 initiative, and they have that luck decreasing ability until the end of combat as well :) I gonna try them with shamans, witches and paladins (or great cavalry upgrade)

+1 speed means leap everywhere and +1 min damage means finally less unlucky leaps

its pretty good, fast, just charge anything in range and it will retal everything there or swoop to get the corner blockers
but best is unfettered cyclops that costs only 33, pack 7 of them with close to 250 tribal goblins in the corner and they never die when you can eat

I prefer paladin's cure instead of goblins eating :)
@Nowar, does the paladin give full health or just partial?

Full healt + remove all negative buffs :)
It's better than eating a goblin as you don't waste your cyclop's turn
Is there a website that indicates where to find creatures? I have spent hundreds of unlucky hours while hunting for preferred creatures. I see some top players, such as the current top one, finding the same creatures one after the other within several minutes. Or is it because they have multis/lots of good friends to help them? Thanks.

Multi do not help. The location is different for each CL.

There is a forum where people can share where to find what on each day (it reset!).

Yes I know they are different for each CL. Thanks for the link :) I didn't realise that there was one for CL14. Never realized multis/friends could be so helpful with this event, but I guess it is too late for one now.

Great death envoys are useless.. no harvest soul ability :/
Great Death Envoys have double strike and good basic factors so they pack a lot of punch into a few HP. Later in the game if you use Magic Guild 2 with spell power 10 you can raise 410 HP of them with Raise Dead. If you have some buff spells to increase their attack, defence and speed they could be pretty good.

I won't be doing that but if I had them that would be a fairly strong strategy especially if you used them with the Great Vampires and various undead Dragons. Demiliches can also use the raise dead spell.

More generally, what are people planning to use Magic Guilds for in the later stage of the event? Once we have loads of crystals lots new avenues should open up as we don't have to pay for creature tiers so we can have good spells and good creatures together now.
but still i would prefer death heralds.. even 1 death herald is more useful than 5-6 of their mega upgrade.
all those speedy dragons and fate spinners can be killed by harvest soul.
