I see sometimes it work and sometimes it dont , can anyone explain?? | By the following old discussions:

It sees that either
* ricochet stops when the nearest(next) target is friendly to the mistress
* ricochet shot will stop if next nearest target is demon
* ricochet shot skips demon units. If a demon unit is nearest, it will just go to the next unit and so on, until it hits a normal unit. Only case it stops is when there is an allied non demon unit that is nearest (after skipping demon units), or when there are no more enemy units that haven't been hit yet.
Maybe someone can confirm which one is true. | *#3 is the most accurate of these, but this explanation still has some shortcomings. Ricochet will never bounce to a demonic unit, whether friendly or hostile ("demonic" here refers to the gating ability; e.g. PoT "demonic" units aren't demonic in this gating/ricocheting sense). When the first (i.e. direct) target of the mistresses is demonic, the shot will still bounce (to non-demonic targets).
Further, "allies" often refers just to the units of teammates' armies, but here "allies" can include members of the same army as the mistresses. From what I've seen, however, members of the same army seem *less* likely to stop ricochet (it's a little unclear why; perhaps real units block ricochet and gated units don't? Or vice versa?) | Is there a ranged limit for bouncing? |
