Hydra meat grinder has served me well. Mega troops are amazing, but they are costly, they are more cost effective in the long run due to the smaller increment up, its about judging when to make the switch

Got mega cave demons and mega sphinx now, so hopefully blade of doom will help speed up the killing of the top tiers. Not sure if I can be bothered to get any more top tier mega's (only got lava drags) just so time consuming and not until loads of crystals that their cost is justified unless going for paladin healing and petrified blood exploit |

| Shooter with large shield and shield allies. Sounds cool but it has like 5 HP and you can recruit 9 for 10 COT or so, so you're better off using another shooter that does not have large shield. It won't have the damage reduction but more meat and defense will make it resist better to range attacks. |

I tried replacing hydras with Great sphynx in my strategy but they dont even get a chance to attack and they dont hit hard :/
As for great elven bowmen, they suck, low damage and hitpoints for huge price.
I will try RR strategy and if that doesnt work I will stick with 4 hydras for a while.
Can you suggest what strategies I should go for in later levels? Right now I am at lvl 27 with 1350 crystals. |
