Does anybody know if the rum has effect in the event battles?

Shouldn't have messed with the Charmer Elf. Ugh. Sea Wolves are pretty hype though.

How many levels can you upgrade your ship to? I'd like to just get a 100+ stack of sea wolves and wreck everything.
I find Innate swiftness very cool. But Rally doesn't seem to work here, maybe because of Ship capacity. Which talents give the max benefits for you guys?
Just noticed that the gold reward at the end will depend on silver gained, is there any other reason to upgrade ship? Until now all i could see was rewards based on wins so i stuck with base ship
for merlin36: More higher level the ship, the more troops you can fit in and also buy cannons. The cannons have monster bane so really good in dealing with large creatures.

Rally has no effect in this event
Yeah for sure in might build it makes sense, but for mage at this ship level i can easily kill any enemy in 2-3 spells :)
At the end of the raids, depending on the amount of silver stolen, Red Beard will personally issue up to 30 pieces of the Imperial Shield.

All battles as chaos wizard. It is very easy so far, losses were due to greed.
The way i win is just by giving stoneskin to cannons and defend each turn, troops get obliterated but the enemy army will be so weakened that the cannons won’t risk getting killed.
Good thing about this is that with 2 cannons with 10 upgrade on durability, you have the time to mass troops for might switch on later days.
I have 3 losses but an ok score.

Lost one battle by 9 about enemy Master Spearmen, and I suspect if I hadn't misclicked a certain attack it would have been a win. :)
