I don't wanna give any advice in an event that's all about beating the general population in terms of troop choices.
But. Nomads. Jackals. Golden Scarabs. Scorpions. are all TERRIBLE choices. |
Also, priestess are for chastise + weakness. Don't buy anything for ressurection as that is a pathetic spell in this event unless you have sphynx.
Also, what are you people even doing. The prices of troops is very stupid. For whole event.
There's 3 troops that should be valued at *3 of their current valuation. And their price keeps dropping still as no one is interested in buying them. They have carried me the whole way.

I didn't use jackals myself, but 192 for ordinary jackals (price right now) can't be bad. Their starting cost was 346. |
| Base jackals are *okay*. As good as base scarabs. But I wouldn't touch either without maxing out on the better options. |

I played the event for fun with base scarabs, jackals, elephants and sun priestesses. Resurrect isn't actually that bad imo, but whatever.
@TOR I'm pretty sure I saw a guy on ru forum who had 40/40 with half of the troops you mentioned, there are multiple ways to play this event.
Regardless, I think you are referring to mummies and ancient mummies.
I just took whatever was available but if I played the event seriously I might have taken them. Confusion, mass curse, hexing attack, high initiative and raise dead are great. |
| Ancient mummies and camels are the best I think. Jackals can be used as bait or to run into enemy archersto block them. I didn't recruit elephants . Although they have good damage,I doubt their effectiveness because of size and low initiative and speed. Any thoughts from players who played with elephants? |
| Certainly playing the market is a useful aspect to this if you are going for a win without repeats. Fighting elephants for 940 yet camel riders are 699, clearly elephants are better for the cost. Whether this saving is worth the non inclusion of key troops is a matter of opinion. II didn;t bother with trying to do it efficiently on this, didn;t have eht eime or inclination. Just did repeats and used cheap arts to just cover the min ap limit. |

If you compare one to one , elephants win against camels hands down. But elephants recruitable size is very low compare to camels. At level fifty 136 camels against 37 elephants. |
| I agree, which is why I specified to apply with winning without repeats. For this the lower amount of total silver will tend to mean less meat overall and mean they can max out much less stacks. As such total recruitable amount if likely to be less significant (bar perhaps one or two key stacks) than the total amount available. |

| Upgraded elephants have nice bonus, midget killer. With luck trigger, can whipe out quite big stack in one go. |
Am i the only one who has bought all units just to play them? These are such cool units and i love the idea that you can up the numbers how much ever if you care to. Elephant ups are my favorite, guess i love midget killing :D
but lets be honest that dmg wise lowly tiers with massive numbers wreck everything far better even if it may not be as satisfying :p |
| To be fair, it should have been obvious that low tiers work best. In almost every event like this low tiers are the way to go |

I have 2 high tiers as main fighting stacks. and 1 high tier for bait.
That's because, everyone seems to think low tiers are the way to go, and high tiers keep having prices slashed. |
