Easy peasy in 5 quick steps:
1. Go to your Castle https://www.lordswm.com/castle.php
2. Under your caste image, there is a line "Change faction:"
3. Click on the drop down list: "Choose new faction"
4. Close your eyes and randomly click on any faction
5. Open your eyes, then firmly and irreversibly click on the 'Change" button

If u still insist, change to full might arts with all primary on magic rather than using magic items
with alt mage is more prefer |

Use the Errudition and Intellect talents, and put all primary parameters in sp and kn.

My two cents,
Try full might. I'm using only full might in Watcher's guild and it's working like charm.
No a big fan of PvP.
Also, change builds in order to find what's the best for you. Full might, full magic, hybrid. |
| Just accept that you'll always be weaker as a classic mage wizard in pvp (regardless of your combat level). If you want to be successful in PvP, either do what Naviron said or change to full might battlewise wizard. |

I don't think might wiz will work so early at lvl 6,
However, I do remember having some trouble against mage BWs.. if user is clever, gremlin mines can be a deadly weapon especially at low levels.
I'd say to try that, because without any doubt mage wiz is total garbage at these levels. |

| Honestly naviron speaks a lot of sense, but at the same time when we were level 6 battle wizard didnt exist, maybe that holds the key for pvp so worth checking it out, at level 6 classic wizard just doesnt have enough gargoyles |

With correct partner, who can withstand for a duration such as classic knight and barb it becomes easier though. Tribals and dwarves are too easy at this level, though earlier as BW tribals have always been baits |
