Author[news] economic reforms
One of the main tragedies for a genius may be the fact that his discoveries and views were not accepted during his lifetime. Any society in one way or another is committed to long-established traditions, because they are simple and understandable. And everything new - scares with its uncertainty. Denial of reform and discovery is just a defensive reflex, but it will inevitably lead to decline and degeneration. Only the wisdom of the rulers and the knowledge of their environment can withstand the destructive power of prejudice. That is why the economic adviser Arabat IV the Fire-God received from Her Majesty the Empress a complete carte blanche for any reforms in the sphere entrusted to him. And the long months spent in the stuffy office for detailed calculations of all the possible benefits and risks finally gave their first and so long-awaited results - a reform project on the phased partial privatization of imperial production facilities. Naturally, the first reaction of those present during the adviser's report on the results of the work carried out was bewilderment. The second is skeptical smirks. And finally, the third - a sense of anxiety and fear after the Empress's approving nod. Will it ever turn into words of admiration - only time will tell. Well, now, with the blessing of Her Majesty, the Empire is entering a new era of economic development.

Heroes, Empire announces the start of economic reform. The first stage includes the following changes:
1) 20,000 shares of two hundred production facilities were distributed free of charge among the 19.589 most active Heroes of the Empire from the 5th combat level;
2) The Hero’s activity was determined by the number of battles held by him for the period from June 1, 2020 and July 10, 2020 inclusive;
3) Each active Hero who participated in at least 60 battles in the specified period was presented with one to 4 shares, depending on the degree of activity;
4) Shares of enterprises with a larger area and better location were issued to the Heroes with a large number of battles;
5) Each owner of shares will receive weekly dividends, the amount of which is calculated from the difference between the cost of production and sale of the artifact (profit of the enterprise);
6) If the Hero has not spent a single battle within three months, all his shares will be automatically put up for sale through an auction;

Future stages of economic reform will provide more opportunities for equity holders. In particular, the possibility of selling and buying shares on the market, the ability to vote on changing the price of an artifact or on changing the profile of production will be introduced.

More profit!
Oh wow, this is big news.

This is the biggest economic change since the games inception and i'm looking forward to seeing how it is implemented. A share market with income producing assets does have large repercussions and i'm interested to see if some kind of inflation will have to be introduced.

This is great and i'm glad they finally decided to expand the 'money' side of the game but this will have to be managed very carefully.
what does the number following factory name mean? like Amulet of luck factory [10], Leather helmet plant [2].
Seems to be the area number
Where does one check shareholdings lol
i guess at the character profile. there is a real estate list now
there is also a "your realty" link in the home page. Below campaign record
The Hero’s activity was determined by the number of battles held by him for the period from June 1, 2020 and July 10, 2020 inclusive

What about the otherwise active heroes who were inactive in the month of june because of work or exams :/. This is not just imo.
I see, thanks guys. Also explains why my base wages jumped for production facilities
for Lord photonics:
Probably you are correct in feeling grieved, but what other option did the admins have for implementation imo

It will be interesting to see how much profit these things fetch and how high they go in the market
I’m certainly all for increased economics in the game

However it has scope for monopolisation by the extremely rich (if shares are sold for auctions, certainly), and since you can manipulate artefact prices, it has potential to be game breaking for people who dont have any. I think there should probably a limit on by how much you can increase or decrease the prices, otherwise it might be troublesome.

Right now I dont think we can access who else has shares of the same facility as us in order to co ordinate, that may be to prevent the same

In any case, interesting development certainly.
Maybe there’s a cap on shareholdings at each facility
Seems to be the area number

yes, a friend of mine has the same amulet of luck facility as gonlador and has [10] written there as well.

Maybe there’s a cap on shareholdings at each facility

Unlikely, although it states a partial privatisation, thus them empire retains majority shares so they can control things if they get out of hand, theoretically. But this would certainly add a lot to the game. Variable Min AP and most efficient high AP sets to begin with, different pricing of arts at all facilities, all that kind of stuff.

Makes for an interesting future, lords of war and money finally has some money aspect to it, earlier it was just enroll to enable wars, which were primary :P
Wow, great news!
Super interesting, though I can't yet figure out if it's good, bad or insignificant.
6) If the Hero has not spent a single battle within three months, all his shares will be automatically put up for sale through an auction;
This is the part I like most. It both implies that there'll be a way to buy up/trade shares, and that shares won't get frozen up with inactive player's accounts.

I can't see any lots in the market yet, so maybe this feature will be implemented soon.
Each facility now has a "Profit" value with a certain amount of gold, though I don't know if this is what's going to be split between all shareholders, if this will be updated daily, or if this is a day's or week's worth of profit.
If 60 battles (or victories?) fetch you 1 share, how many did one need for 4? I have 2 shares and I did upwards of 600 battles in the time period specified.
Well, its random, coz only between 1st and 10th of july i did almost 700 battles ( if i did count june in, i would be somewhere around 2000 - 2500 battles )
It seems to be normalised rather than random. The average number of battles per player must have been the metric.then they would have sorted everyone and started handing down from the top
Well you could just check your realty and see how many shares you got
This topic is long since last update and considered obsolete for further discussions.
