This is my battle if it helps

Some things to note, retribution will cause a lot of damage, so therefore good to bait him to use it on centaurs which are the most expendable troop.

Harpies are very much needed, keep them such that they cannot reach shooters to begin with, such that they do not take AI priority for being shot.

After that you should be ok
When have people found it hard to beat the extra levels in just normal shop arts?

So far I have got to level 46 without too much fuss, and as such it is still profitable, though not to a large extent. As such the moment I hit losses it will break that balance compared to earlier investment. I kind of wrote off the earlier side battles in terms of cost as wanted to do them for the bonus guild points (mainly WG)
Victories / Combats: 74 / 80
Individual place: ~16

Hopefully it won't drop below 50, with some luck it's quite possible to clear even higher waves.
for Murali:
Great Result overall
-------------
noobie question
what artifact that can give my troops +1 speed because I see some players has +1 extra speed which is very useful in some battles
Commanders ring has tactics talent which gives +1 row during troop settlement..
what artifact that can give my troops +1 speed

Robbers artifacts, but I can't remember which
commander ring gives tactics talent
Yay, beat 51 without enchants, took 3 attempts mind you, so would have been cheaper to have used the enchants, but that is not the point.

Needed a bit of luck and a full attack build

for Lord MilesTeg:

In your higher level battles, do you use shop arts like Sword of Cold, Flame Dagger, Ring of Cold, etc.? Using the normal arts available from the stores, I can only reach 47. My 48 and 49 had to rely on these "non-normal" shop arts. And these arts are often rent out at my clan's armory :-(.
Yeah, I used soc and clover of fortune, for those, though just shop rings as magic resistance from ring of cold is not a game changer in these. For 51 I had to go full attack with flame dagger and rings of sun
for Lord MilesTeg:

Thanks for the advice and battle. Tried shopped arts 3 times and luck never happened to my fetishists. :-/

Gave up and did the enchanted version instead.
level 52 is doable first time in good shop arts
https://www.lordswm.com/war.php?warid=1119111422&show_for_all=Lb6a0bd6bdd, would have been easier if I had realised on setup that some had speed 8
for Murali:
Tis a good score.

Watch out for Lord Ragnaros, Mr Consistent, he has beat 75 with no losses as of yet. Will he hit 80.....

A teammate of his got to 79, will he be No 1........

No pressure ;p
Let’s summarize the event - what did you think about it?

Personally I think that we’ve had several really good events last year and this was certainly one of those. For the casual player, you could easy do the main levels and some auxiliary battles with decent profit to level 30. The difficulty last 50 levels (after adjustment) were also quite balanced. I don’t have the statistics but I think around 20 players cleared 75 and above. The big drawback with the ffa option is of course that players without gold or enchanted sets really can’t compete for the top spots. Let’s hope we also get events like this with shop arts only. It would be interesting to see how it would affect the clan ranking - probably not much.

Compared to the pharaohs event in August I feel this event was less time-consuming due to easier auxiliary battles. A step in the right direction I think. I had lots of fun this time.

Way too much grind and too many boring auxiliary battles (too easy). The fun part was experimenting new units but it gets old before the end of the event.
I personally found it to be just right. You don't have to grind every additional battle to clear the 30 main ones.
The event is a perfect balance for casual and hardcore players of all levels. (In terms of grinding)

As for difficulty, I found the initial levels to be on the easier side (Most probably because I'm only level 11) and the later additional levels to be super close, like being determined by a single luck/morale proc in Shop Arts (There ain't much sets at level 11 which gives as big a bonus as sets for levels 14+)

Overall, getting to experience the power of one of the PoT factions was great fun. Looking forward to the events of the other 3 factions.
Let’s summarize the event - what did you think about it?

Events like this are always grindy. Tons of battle to do.
But I still love it. Reason being the FFA battles.
When do you really get to go all out on enchanted arts and sets? So much fun seeing the ridiculous number when luck befalls a full stack.
I'm level 11. For my level, the battle #50 was the most difficult one, could not clear it even with so many luck procs on several attempts. For low levels like me, if there are one blocker battle like that, its GG. Hope its balanced for all levels in future events.
Disappointing artifact
