Chaifist is a likely contender, he has around 250 shares so that's 100+ million on it's own
It's quite hard to know for sure as some people have insane inventories. I won't name drop but I know of 1 .com player with probably 300 rare and enchanted arts spread around estates. |

It seems all insanely rich people deal in market only. But there could be 6 open sale post at a time. They make profit of around 100-200 per art. How does it makes such huge difference. |

For starter, Meshy is right.
Topicwise, I think that some aspects of the game become P2W. So, being rich gives you a subtatntiaal edge. LG for example. Other aspects, remains the same. Ture, there is a benefit of donating. But today is mainly for LG events. Actually, I don't like this events anymore. Stuck at level 28 without the necessary trops. You want the troops: Kiss goodbye to 150K. To be honest, I've donated to the game thru the years as I believe in rewarding the game developers and admins for this wonderful projects.
Beyond that, I'll try to stick to regular events or play the LG event until a hit the wall.
