The sounds of battle rumbled somewhere in the distance, and the court magician, accompanied by his faithful assistants, had in the meantime reappeared within the walls of the ancient necropolis, hidden from prying eyes.
- It's all ready, Master, - In a confident voice, one of Abu-Bakir’s subordinates reported.
- Wait here, - the court sorcerer answered immediately, - Only the constructs will come in with me.
Without further ado, the mages surrounded the entrance, taking up positions behind the few colossi and rakshas. Tension hung in the air, diluted by the flow of magic that permeated everything around them. In an instant, the outline of Abu-Bakir disappeared into the gloom of the abode of the dead.

Inside, everything looked the same as before, and there was even the same oppressive silence, diluted only by the clang of marching metal and the clatter of stone claws crawling across the floor.
- Have you come back to take them away from me again? - suddenly a mysterious male voice echoed through the gloomy vaults. And a little ahead the outline of a raven perched on one of the massive chains that were stretched between the obelisks towering over the sarcophagi could be seen.
- You took them from her, - Abu-Bakir objected, signaling with his hand that the detachment was ready.
- I saved them from a worse fate, - the mysterious voice came again, - And created her. The one you destroyed in your ignorance. And she just wanted to share her wisdom with the world.
- Show yourself! - the wizard spoke loudly, averting his eyes from the raven and glancing around the darkness-filled room.
- All in good time... One day you'll understand it. Alas, too late... I would once have said that. But I understand now that all in good time. And you'll understand…
- Then don't get in my way! - with a threatening tone in his voice, Abu-Bakir said and resolutely marched forward to the central reliquary, taking from his bag the crystal with the cursed soul imprisoned inside.

The raven immediately flapped its wings and vanished into the darkness, and a moment later the wizard's path was blocked by a huge beast that landed before him with a thunderous crash. A woman's face and the decayed body of a lion-it was undoubtedly the cursed Sphinx child known as Lamassu. What fate could be more terrible than this? But there was no time for sorrow or pity. A bolt of chain lightning shot toward the monster. Bouncing off the wing exposed by the lamassu in front of it, it swept deep into the hall, jumping from one target to another and illuminating очертания новых of monsters awakening from their eternal sleep. Stunned, but not defeated. Lamassu's gaze filled with rage and anger, and a moment later the monster lunged forward, but was instantly struck down by a group of gargoyles that aimed past the wizard, straight into the chains dangling between the obelisks. While the enemy was distracted, Abu-Bakir covered his face to protect himself a little from the rotting stench that hit his nose, and took a few steps forward, about to place the crystal over the reliquary. Suddenly he heard a great buzzing sound behind him, and then the wizard was surrounded by a swarm of hideous corrupting parasitic flies. A spark of flame flashed in the wizard's eyes, but faded in an instant as he felt the resonating vibrations on the crystal's surface. With a few swift manipulations of his hands, a handful of crystal dust flew into the air, trapping Abu-Bakir in a timeless space. The crystal dagger's blade gleamed in the wizard's hand, and his eyes filled with magical light. A few cryptic words, and a dagger glowed like fireflies as insects swarmed all around him, drawing life force from them and sending them toward the dagger. And when the blade finally saturated, its tip touched the surface of the crystal, pouring the collected energy into it. The resonance intensified in an instant, and then began to fade smoothly. The Abu-Bakir’s gaze slid across the vastness of the necropolis hall, assessing the situation. The gargoyles were almost gone, and the golems, though they continued to hold, could not hold out much longer. They had done their job, and it was time to go. With one last look at the monster furiously struggling to free itself from its chains, the court mage waved his hand and vanished into thin air. And then the spell of the trap he'd created vanished, allowing the empty shells of a swarm of flies to drop dead on the stone floor.

Lord and Ladies! The auspicious period is over - and the time portal has closed again. The court mage Abu-Bakir thanks everyone who responded to his call and steadfastly ensured the safety of the scientific expedition. For their endurance and courage all who managed to collect a total of at least 450 crystals, are awarded a special unique artifact. Its strength depends on the number of collected crystals!

 
 


All Lords and Ladies who accumulated more than 450 crystals were awarded with Magma Sword parts from 1 to 15 pieces. The number of pieces depends on the sum of accumulated crystals.



Everyone who has at least one victory can receive a gold participation award! The reward depends on the Lord or Lady’s combat level and the number of victories. Gold is awarded on the Portal of Time page.



Also, the Empire specifically recognizes the top 75 military clans - a reward and the loyalty of new followers awaits all deserving who have brought a clan of 400 points or more:
