I'm turning lvl 8 soon, so I was wondering if some high level necs want to share their experience.
Do you favour the offense build with max attack and only small mana or is a mass poison approach the better one. |
| Hmm, I am only level 5 but I have 50 mana and 1 spell power. I would reccomend about 60-70 mana and the rest on spell power or attack, but spell power is more important as you get attack from guilds |
for Ranor:
With your faction skill it is better to use mass poison.
60-70 mana (with staff), other stats in spell power, mage artifacts.
Strictly defensive tactic.
If you would have 7th faction level then maximum attack + Vitality talent would be more effective, IMHO. |
In addition to 3rd post:
To be an effective caster you need full mage artifact complect. Otherwise poison is too weak. |
to my experience:
mass posion is very strong in group battle ,even you lose, you will get the most skp( in my battle, I got 3.5 mostly)
think about a mass posion with -72 per turn in the battle ,one turn you can do hundreds damage to live troops, most of all, and ignore defence!
the might necro is also very cool, after lv8 late or lv9 , you should abandon raise undead, for they could not raise too much troops but will make your troops weaker.
so , both might and magic necro is your choose, anyway ,you can change between them to choose which one is better, I choose magic necro , the darkness master^^ |

just get full arts and -3 luck is necessary.
at lv5 , you usually can get 75 sks bowman , that's nice.
druid after its mana used out is useless.
don't afraid of elves,for necro is the strongest at 5-7^^ |

1.I'm no necro - and I won't switch my faction to check your castle out.
2.Necro can recruit from two dragons upwards - so it's 2+ dragons.
For comparison - Altar of Light allows to recruit from 1 angel upwards.

Necro will be able to recruit 3 bone dragons. This is how it is on .ru . Other 7th level creatures will be 2 maximum. Also dragons can be raised from the dead in battle, so potentially necro can have even more than 3 dragons ;) |
