And it sure will be needed cause bone dragon as usual is the worst tier 7 unit with an avarage dmg of 22 and lowest hp (only 150) other tier 7 creatures have at least double avarage dmg. |
But we have building to: Provides for recruiting from 1 skeletal dragon upwards. |
But we have building to: Provides for recruiting from 1 skeletal dragon upwards.
It means that we will receive 1 dragon "for free" and can take more by reducing the amount of other creatures in army. |
if they give us the upgrade of bone drgons then we will have some balance because of cursing attack |
and what about the vampire counts they are a bit stronger and only have teleport |
+the initiative is lower then the normal vampire |
the initiative is same |
for Blood28:
and what about the vampire counts they are a bit stronger and only have teleport
Vampire on higher levels is more a support unit than a significant battle stack. Their role is to support the attack or defense by blocking archers (speed=7 and teleport are very significant here), by blocking paths for enemy, by taking down weak stacks and so on.
So, yes, the battle characteristics are not so impressive, but tactics potential increases significantly. |
I have a question about skills and xp gained while battleing. Any thoughts on why as a necro I tend to earn half as much xp and skill points as others when we win?
What is xp and skill points really based on? |
What is xp and skill points really based on?
On how much damage you have deal during battle. |

On how much damage you have deal during battle. Also on arts you&your opponents wear, and which creatures your hit - high tier creatures are believed to yield more xp/fsp. |
Yeah and since Necro arent damage dealer (except for Poison Master at high level) then you get almost nothing in every fight you do and they call it balance ! |
y is verything so hard 4 us necros..... |
I would like to ask , what is the optimum amount of knowledge should an upper level necro have (combat lvl 7 and beyond) ? I've seen that most of the top Necromancers of the Empire have around 5 or 6 points of knowledge . There are also some isolated cases of top necros with 4 or even 7 knowledge . I would like to know your opinions on the optimum amount of knowledge for :
- Combat Necromancer
- Magical Necromancer (poisonmaster and/or reviver)
- All-round necromancer (Jack of all trades , master of none or maybe some)
If it would not be too much trouble , can you plz include the amount of the other basic parameters that the hero needs ?
Thank you |
- Combat Necromancer
i would give 4 points to knowlage and 3 to atack + with basic inovation i would give +1 to knowlage and +1 to atack
- Magical Necromancer (poisonmaster and/or reviver)
i would give 1 to spell power and the rest to knowlage +with basic inovation give 1 point to spell power and 1 to knowlage and if you can have the knowlage talent that gives u +50% mana i would take that
- All-round necromancer (Jack of all trades , master of none or maybe some)
give 2 points to atack 1 to spell power and the rest to knowlage (i dont know good advice for all-round)
hopefuly it helps
PS. i am not lvl 7 so i am not sure if its good |
for AzlyHaziq:
Talking about 8-10 lvl
- Combat Necromancer
3 knowledge _maximum_! All other stats into attack.
poisonmaster
6 knowledge _minimum_ (7 optimal). All other stats into spell power.
reviver
In PvP (especially in group battles) this build is not efficient. For PvM i think 5 knowledge would be fine. Other stats into attack.
- All-round necromancer (Jack of all trades , master of none or maybe some)
These builds are inefficient everywhere. Dedicated builds are more powerful.
IMHO |
Though I am not a necro ,
Just confused by their talents ;|
Till lvl 5 add kn = 50 mana
basic erud. =1 sp
LVL 6 = ADD KN = 6o m
then intellect at lvl 7 and bang 90 mana 1
so is it good ? |
then intellect at lvl 7 and bang 90 mana 1
It is not guaranteed that necro will have time to spend all this mana ;) |
37:
depends
against slow faction like knight, its good
u'll raise them more and more before they can eliminate a stack
but against high init faction like demon
ur high mana pool is such a waste |
Then better kill ONLY the REAL creatures with Magic first, the chaos magic : Magic arrow, cold ice spell and fire ball .. But do not try dominion of pain .. coz it is VERY ACTUALLY suck against UNDEAD, machines and elemental .. they cannot be poisoned AT ALL ..
Try it ..
Best regards,
