for 3145:
i checked 40th ST, in 3rd level DE participators is 57 and 2nd is knight 53.
seems competition level in knight faction and DE faction in higher than other factions.
so its hard to come on top.
but its better to join in ST with you strong faction to gain good exp and fsp. if you are lucky you might win rewards. |

| Bowmen arent of much worth in STs |
| well actually, if used right you can still do well with them. There is the recruit/farmer tactic or the bow/crossbow tactic. For recruits/farmer, its melee, but for bows, you try and get them all to a corner, preferrably before ending the first wave by running from the various stacks in the first wave. Just make sure your bows are ready to fire for the next turn. Basically camping in the corner. good for mainly melee waves and try to conserve arrows. |

too much of a hassle IMO, and you get owned by shooters/ casters as you may not be able to slay as quickly (range penalty), not sure about xbows though |
| bows tactic is decent if you look up the waves in the tourn. forum and so plan ahead. However, yes, it can be a hassle, casters will destroy them. |

Hi I just want to know what are good tactics against Barbarian (Lvl 6)
Should i attac ogres with sm and Goblins or Wolf Riders with Griffins.
I can kill Ogres ,Wolf Rider and Hobs but problem is Orcs They get thier turn bfore my Bowmen cause of thier High ini
What should i do?

Use swords to kill wolfs. Get your griffins to attack the orcs as soon as possible while keeping out of short range as well as ogre movement. As soon as you can, attack orcs (swords should have destroyed the wolfs/goblins by now). I think use bows to help get rid of goblins/wolfs so you dont waste as much time on them. Ogres should then try and protect the orcs by going for the griffins. You may have some bows left. Try and take the remaining orcs out with the bows and griffs while the swords come in for the ogres. Key is to eliminate wolf riders/goblins asap combining swords and bows. Griffins tie up the orcs preventing from shooting, but die in process (as always).
This is my theory. Anyone else? |

this is because the pre-combat positioning of units on the bar happens with a random deviation of 0% to 10%. the different between the initiative of your bow and neutral is just 0.4, so they could shoot before you applying rule above.
unless your bow have initiative of 10, then they could act before the neutrals.

i think efreetis is too hard for your lvl.
even in enraged condition your sword attack is lower than their defense and their attack are higher than your sword. you can't deliver great damage to them unless you trigger a luck which you dont have.
skip them till lvl 7 or buy an amulet of luck and pray for luck will befall |
