for HellMercenary:
I would take them out in this order:
1. Magi (so Your archers can actually shoot something later on)
2. gremlins (for their ability to raise dead golems)
3. Just focus on them as they get closer to you, so it should be gargoyle, golems and then genies
As for strategy, split archers until you take out magi. Then place all archers in one corners and the rest of your army near them. Split recruits so you can take retail. And kill whoever comes close first. |
Thanks for tips but i already succesfully completed this. i thought this may be impossible , cause i messed up badly on my first try and killed only a stack of enchanted gargoyles(18 of them). on the second try i went with max bow and killed more than half magi and half golems + finished up gargoyles. on third try i thought that i will lose cause of huge genies damage , but then i noticed that they are only 40hp -.- so killed them in few turns while they were using random cast on my bowmen.... and then with only ~30 gremlins and 20 swords it was easy. |

it is better if you do MG quests once you reach combat level 7-8 |
probably yes , but im kinda doing well at the moment 14/18 won , 3 meteorite shards. |
HellMercenarysome quest are easy for CL5-6, enjoy it :P |
At lv6-7 if buy crossbow with diamons , then in group battle max swords or max crossbow? |
for HellMercenary:
I would max xbows, take 1 knowledge and 2-3 SP to bless them. And as much morale/luck as possible. |
Confession (of a dangerous mind):
As a pesky wizz, I have long time advocated knights to be so underpowered... I have come to a mind-blowing revelation. That in proper hands, with proper discipline, knight is a faction to be reckon with by any other faction. And only wiz (if not noob, only) can outmatch it.

yes, wiz isnt unbeatable; but you have to use correct setup.
and, the problem is the 'correct' setup doesnt work well when encounter other factions. hence, it is a problem for knight in GB when facing wiz. |
Which is better for lv6 with max X-Bow recruitment?
• Basic leadership + rally
• Going as a holy knight and using 2 talents from "Holy part" of talent wheel?(suggest talents plz if choose this option)
With rally i can have max 49 xbow , without it max 42. so the thing is if going with holy build which would result in more attack/higher min damage(bless/chastise) will compensate those 7 xbow and 1-2 swords. |

@4253 It depends on arts used, if going full, i'll choose adv leadership and 2 morale rings (5 morale overall), and for min AP, bas leadership and rally is very useful.
Magic build not seems attractive, you can only cast rapid and bless and at basic efficiency and low duration. |
for HellMercenary:
Take leadership+rally, and make stats 1-2 for SP-KN (not by arts), they'll be quite useful 'till 10lvl, even without any talents in holy magic. |

i hardly remember, but ill give you some tips.
1) take offense + some leadership talents. offense is must to kill trees. or try holy.
split your xbows in 2 stacks, so they take more time to finish your xbows and reduce ther shooters with your monks.
2) Fervor built is also an excellent built, but finishing those trees is really a nightmare for your swords without offense talents.
3) i tried full Defense in level 11, it did helped me in some battles. |
