Hmmm.. I dun think there's another faction where a player dun use what's supposedly their strongest troop, so they can have more lower-level troops..

Not trying to pour cold water on a knight faction (I don't think I'll change factrion) but the future don't look too bright for us knights, does it.. haha.. *forcefully puts on a brave front and smiles* :p
1Angel=15Xbow? 2angels=30bow. Its worth it to take 30 more xbows than very weak dont do anything except having flyer ability angels.
what's good full arts for lvl 6?
for Mojocat2: Sword of Retrib, Hauberks, chain helmet, def shield, longbow, ring of morale (2), leather boots, amulet of luck ^^

EXACTLY what I'm trying to say. Why create a high tier creature you can only get at level 14 that, in your words, "dont do anything except having flyer ability angels." Sux for knights, isn't it. :/

Ok, jokes over. Now to reveal the truth:

A 'reliable' source told me we knights are the 'guardians' of this game, and thus will kick all the other factions' cute little butts in time.

The creator of this game deliberately made the troops for the other factions 'strong' from lvl 1-14 so many people will play those factions. But those who persevere as knights will get the reward at the end of the rainbow when we upgrade to the bestest, powerfulest, awesomest, bad-as kicking trooper in the game - the ARCHANGEL ! It'll smoke them dragons and evils factions with 1 swipe of its wings. hehe.. :p

But if you were to look at the this link (kindly posted by Shraws) - https://www.lordswm.com/photo_pl_photos.php?aid=6, the Angel has already one of the best stats (if not THE best) of all the tier 7 troops.

Pity we can't see the stats (or how it even look like) of the Archangel..

Hmm.. maybe it's a secret, so the other factions won't know what hit them when it appears ! hahaha.. Long Live the Knights of the Round Table ! :D

PS: Anyone have a link/pic of the complete list (.ru maybe?) If it has never been done, can someone be kind enough to fill in the blanks for the last remaining troops?

thats to compensate its no ability. in practice angels really do sucks

In HOMM, I remember that Arch Angels can raise the griffins .. :) maybe that is their ability .. :) raise of griffin .. :)

Not surprising they can raise a dead ally, since they are supposed to be Angels from Heaven after all. :)

Dang, there are supposed to be 2 upgrades ! And we only have one. Maybe the knight (and other factions other than the DE) have stronger 2nd upgrade to compensate for a 'weaker' 1st upgrade.. Hmmmm...

And then now we know why players change an (heavenly) Angel for mere mortal crossbowmen -

Angel:

The Angel is a slightly below-average level 7 creature due to its slow speed and lack of special abilities. Aside from this, it is quite satisfactory, overly so in the attack and defense department. Its Hit Points are average, while its initiative is quite good. However, it is not as effective in offensive situations as its upgrade.
