Ok, what happened yesterday is no longer in my thoughts. My mind is at ease now. Received a PM telling me not to waste time on issues of integrity, moral and principle with the persons in question, coz all I have to do is to just look at the transfer logs of 2 of the 3 main people who responded to my comments, and all will be clear.
Well, I did. Not gonna comment on what I saw, but it's pretty obvious, in my opinion. 1 even 'did the same thing' from the first few days of registration to as recent as just a few days ago. So all's 'zen' for me now. :)
Ok, purpose of this post.
The normal FFAs that we play every day are the blindfold version, ie, everyone can see all other players in the battle. For the current tourney, it's a blindfold tourney, I believe the admins made it blindfold for a reason (whatever they may be). I have checked the rules, announcements etc, and I couldn't find an official answer anywhere -
So, is it legal for a player to find out who he's fighting with (by whichever means or whether a player can be caught don't form the basis of this query, since they are many ways to accomplish this), if any of his friends are playing, and then maybe form a team with his friend(s) even before the battle begins?
I believe this question is a genuine query about an area of the tourney rules that's pretty vague and not very clearly defined. An official answer from someone of authority (admins/mods) will benefit all members playing the tourney now in progress, and a point of reference for future tourneys of this nature.

| blindfold version cant work for players lvl 13-14 because we all know each other, and isnt so hard click at TOP PLAYERS and look who is online in full set and status - Character is in combat . crap tourny imho ! |
well, I joined the Tournament, and did lvl up. I was happy, as I saw, that I only lvl up after the tournament... Now I helped some guy by hunt, and I lvl up, loosing all my battles, and points, and chance...

I think this problem had been mentioned in the rules. I do remember it. Not to level up by out of tournament battles if tournament leveled you up. |
Even if you have the required exp for the next level, but didnt level up yet (because it was a tournament game) so your exp shows something like +- xxxxx
you still can NOT participate in the tournament
You are FORCED to level up in another battle, before joining the tournament again.
So it doesnt matter you did a hunt

If you already paid the participation fee for the blindfold tournament and gained enough experience to lvl up you can still participate in this tournament on the relevant lvl e.g. 5 as long as you have no battle outside the tournament (except when you reach max battle count for your level in the tournament)
The point of post 10 by arctic was, that you can not participate in a new tournament as level 5 (e.g. the next survival tournament or something like that) because you won't be able to pay the entrance fee. |

At the end, the two DEs united against me. Dark green could have finished off the magic DE before me as he was the weakest player at the time. But he didn't. They chose to kill me instead. They're not even clan mates! It's not fair! They should have finished off the weaker player. I was so close to grabbing 2nd place in that battle and got it snatched away from me! |

I did not say, that is wrong... but it is not nice... I should get back the fee, or be able to sign in to the tournament on my new lvl for fee minus the pervious lvl fee...

On .ru the winners were determined by total score, and it would be most likely same here. So just try to get as much done as possible in the short, but not too short time. |

If Im fighting against someone of my faction and another person, and that other person is stronger then or equal to us together, I will surely fight the other player as I do more damage to them.
Its simple logic not to attack someone of your faction. |
| I guess you're right. It's just that I just needed one more turn with my hero to grab 2nd place in that battle and that extra exp and fsp. I felt that I had 2nd place in the bag. I just needed to "vent" and get it off my chest. |
