Authorsecond blinfold battle
another one 8ppl and battle didnt work at 13lvl
I guess there is a limit only 2 players from the same faction can join
one battle at the same time.
There are not enough variation of factions at higher levels.
a limit only 2 players from the same faction
Ive seen battles with 3 necromancers in it.
So if there s a limit, its at least on 3.
nope I saw 3 barbar
so the problem isnt factions
again 8ppl in 13lvl and fight doesnt start ;s its annoying =[ what is going on?
Hi, people, maybe it is my frustration.. But I don't see the reason why people are turning this tournament into a clan war?!!

1st tournament match.. me and jedi, and possibly many many others got piled up by clans..

This tournament is not about clan wars, but individual performance.. All those people out there are cowards.. they depend on teaming to win??

If this is ever allowed, I would easily do it too, it simply ruins the fun of FFAs, and it will prevent this game from continueing the path to the light age..
I just finished a fight with 4 knights in it (including me). So factions are not the issue. I don't know what the deal is with the system not starting the battles despite having enough people for them.
hiddenshadow:

That brings up another question: The intention of having the "blindfold" format as opposed to a traditional FFA I think is to avoid something like this as you don't know who your opponents are. So how do these people know who is a clan mate and who isn't in these fights?
So how do these people know who is a clan mate and who isn't in these fights?
post battle id in clan chat and ask who recognises the number :)
Simple.
chat, talent/unit set-ups, ...

You don't need the in game battle chat to talk to players you know.
Sometimes judging from the recruitment and parameters are enough to determine whos who
no one really joining no one join the tournament what a waste of my money
True, you have multiple strategies to know which player is in your clan. Just use any chat program to talk about moves and it's 2 against the rest. If you play correctly then you and your friend will battle for place 1 and 2.

However I do think that you can rapport them for some kind of ''staged'' battle especially when a player seems to fight with his clanmates multiple times.

There is a reason the battle is blindfold, so this style of play is very close to staged battles...
no one really joining no one join the tournament

lol. maybe the wrong type of tournament was launched? who knows...
Started a thread on this, but was told to bring it over here. -

It's amazing. I just played my 1st, and (if this is the norm, probably my last) game in the tourney.

Right from the start, 2 players were attacking me almost exclusively. Ok, fine. Maybe they think knights are a threat, and they wanna weaken me. No argumemnts with that.

They, when it reached the stage when I had NO chance to win, they continue attacking me. Ok, never mind, I take it that they don't like knights. I can take that too.

But at the end (4 players left), when it was OBVIOUS that 1 player (a Wiz) was gonna win if the other 3 don't band together to at least try and stop the Wiz, the other Wiz took out my Monks with a 400-500 lightning spell, when the other Wiz had a 80+ stack of Gargs flying around(!?)

It was obvious (all level 12 players here) that he wanted 2nd place, and had no intentions to win whatsoever.

Like I said, I don't mind losing, if I'm the strongest near the end, by all means, attack me. Even if 2-3 players band together to attack me. Fine. They earn my respect.

But if there's still a chance to win, and someone deliberately go for 2nd(??) place by attacking someone other than the strongest, well, don't speak much for one's character, does it..? It's one thing to not wanna win, to go about spoiling someone else chance to win is in my opinion, downright desp.., ermm.. uncool.

Come on people, play to WIN! 2nd-6th place are for.. you-know-what. You may not win every time, but at least have the decency and integrity to at least TRY winning. If handing the win is the objective of high level players just to gain some faction point or help someone else win, then well, it really shouldn't be called a 'tournament' now, should it? Unbelievable.

Oh, and my respect to Cipa, even though he had no chance to win (like me), he fought valiantly to the end. A true warrior and a man of integrity, in my humble opinion.

And now, to the reason for this post - I wrote to this player who blatantly played not to win, and this is his reply -

sorry, but we're from elite warrior playing together :)

Well, there's already not many lvl 12 to start every tourney, and if this is some people's twisted version of a Clan war, then I don't wanna be part of it.

Good luck to all who plays the tourney in the true spirit of fighting and war - to win.
@ Jedi

Well since you have clear evidence with the mail you can just report them for staged battle.

Just add the complete mail with the battleID and playerID and report them.

With the mail it's obvious that this is not fair play and they did know that they where from the same clan, so it wasn't blindfold anymore.
Well, if two magician team up, it's not possible to win, for the others. 2 lightinings every turn - that's too much, i think.
FaithBringer, read the definition of a staged battle in the rules and you will probably realize how incredibly stupid it is calling this a staged battle.

teaming up in a blindfold battle has never been against the rules, so why should it be any different now?
for MrNiceGuy:
Lol, maybe you should read the rules more clearly.

"Temporary teaming is allowed in FFA matches."

If you were to answer honestly, did that look temporary to you?
