It's something they did on .ru. With mana recovery, wiz (and other casters) become way too powerful.
Which is stupid because ultimately the prizes are delegated according to faction, and if those of the same faction all have mana recovery available, then they are on even footing are they not?
I think there are also grand winners. Anyway, the point is that this way, it forces wizards to discover the right balance of knowledge and spellpower.
related to the mana Recoveries wiz are all dependent on magic then our troops should get more power if we had not come with the score so far because we pose the mana

Sven91 mentioned some wizards played 8 hours for one tournament battle in last survival tournament? Well, I'm totally fine with this change, if this is right.
this talent was terned of on tournament becose of simple thing. Some players used it (on previos tournaments) and this battles were very, very long. 5-8 hours. Not all players can sit near their computers so many time. So now, without this talent all players (wizards) need around the same time to do battle on tournament. From other side - all of them still have equal talent point, armies, etc.
So this is not way to prevent you from win, its just helping to players to not do so long battles.

How about concealed knowledge? It gives you 50% of your mana reserved, at least it can gives you some mana.
Yes but after you cast all your spells, you don't gain any more mana :(

No, if mana recovery was allowed, EVERY wizard had to use it to have chances to compete. I don't like 8 hour battles, so that decision is fine to me :)

Yeah I know,its just sad that they removed it cuz it would be very usseful as a necro.

If a wizard has no life so he can spend 8 hours in a battles its hes decision afterall!
I think is not the only good change to do....
maybe, the increasing monster speed too... (so i don't need to fly away all the time) :-D
