it* will be lower | I earned two TGI during my career as a Thieves' Guild member, and bought two on the market (one from a friend). One TGI was rented to a cheater and lost, and I ended up with three. Over two years of play, that's hardly enough to call me a reseller but it's up to you!

No, I don't care. I just have one last TGI to get rid of. As I explained, I'm already full of cash and there's nothing to spend gold on on this server; so I don't see why I should put myself at a disadvantage with selling it at bargain price.
For some time, I've tried to sell it lower than market price to clan mates, but I grew eventually fed up of seeing people unaware my offer and paying full price on the market. Now I try there (but not really hard at work on it).

Don't feel so offended and panicked that you suddenly need three replies to react to my last message... | You know: The fact about buying and selling artifacts/TGIs is not something outrageous. Is the sad fact how you got used to lie all the time. All the time and repeatedly. Why cant you just stand up and say, hey I buy TGIs to get profit? Stupid excuses like "buying" for a friend..
Totally direct lies. I have seen this dozens of time in this game from multiple players. "Brothers" helping each other in smithing, sending free artifacts, 7 relatives each playing for another faction and going off at the exact same time.
Its like, I can lie absolutely free through internet, there is no way for them to confront me and there is no punishment. Its just I have lost faith in humanity, when I see, that no one seems to think that lying is a bad and immoral thing. How can a freaking community(or society for that matter) work with only scammers, cheaters and liars?
Not saying there are not decent people left, but well, the numbers of liars seems wast in last few months. | I am a reseller. So what? is it illegal? is ambushing player illegal?
I know many people don't like me because i have ambushed many players. They thought i have used script.

People may complain however that life is already miserable enough for would-be Thieves' Guild members: the extra layer of middlemen and resellers just adds to the final price of things (like darkelf84's transfer log excerpt above, and just for the month of August!)
So, if someone manages to get 1'000'000 of cash, should he play with it to get money from TGI transactions? Well, Georgia is a prime example of someone keeping her gold for other purposes. Same for me, I have millions waiting and I'm not spending them to suck extra gold from lower-level players. But others may tell on the opposite that this is lords of war and money, and that if speculators with tons of gold can get more cash from newcomers, so be it. It's also a valid claim.
Your mileage may vary.
Anyway, I'm against market price manipulations. In the small market of TGI, such effects are easily achieved.
I'm the first to admit than when I bought two TGI from the market looooong ago, that was with the ultimate goal of reselling for a profit later. There is apparently some language misunderstanding, by multiple players I didnt mean multiple accounts of one person, but, well, "multiple players" in my post meant that there is not one specific player(ie. person) that gives me nauzea, but many.
If it is wanted, we can discuss the most frequent lies that repeat themselves at this server. TOP 1 would be: "I have a sister and brother and cousin, we play from the same IP, and they have decided to give me 30% of their wealth every month and use my 20% smith services for 100% cost on their own free will."

The problem with this is that players would say "there's no proof". :)
Technically there's nothing even illegal if those characters are played by other people. I wonder why the admins even made LG (or in the current form). One of the ideas I put forth long ago made wages more dependent on combat level and/or combats, to prevent a hoard of low level multis to support a main.

You are right, if you convince 100 people to buy TGI with ˆ instead of game gold, the number of people in need of a TGI will decrease by 100, more or less. But in my opinion this number is a drop of water in the ocean.
There was a reason why I added (or some significant number of players).
I understand your reasoning. It is very complete. Basically TGI sellers won't sell low because they are already rich and have nothing to spend on.
But all of this reasoning on why TGI prices are high still doesn't mean prices can't be lowered. Let's assume that with all the factors, reasons, economics, psychology, resellers, etc. accounted for: high paying rich buyers and low selling poor sellers agree on a price of 1.2 mil (or whatever $ you want).
All I'm saying is that the community can influence TGI prices. While most players (or at least the vocal ones) want the prices to go down, there are others who want it to go up. Instead of just whining, discussing, debating about it, those who don't like the current price can change it. I'm not going to say it's not going to take effort or it won't involve lots of other players, but people can do something.

That's quite an exaggeration. It is much closer to 24hrs for 2 months.
Of course it should be restated to 12hrs/day for 4 months. No one expects you to wake up every hour during your sleep to enroll. :) | 24hrs for 2 months.
