Complex webs of finance seem too incongruous to really be a solution. The almighty Admin created an incentive to buy diamonds, and those seeking TG entry should consider this. In many areas this is going to be cheaper than the (real world) time and equipment etc needed to log in and enrol 1-2000 times. Yet on principle spending money is not on many peoples agenda and this is understandable, for the future of this server is quite unknown (but showing obvious neglect).
Having played at HeroesWM, I can only hope the LG update they got is not brought here. The poor Hero can barely feed his army, let alone buy gear or a ~1 million gold TGI... |

I believe this is the largest roadblock against diamonds. I'm not sure how much affect does calling diamond buying "donations" rather than directly calling it purchasing diamonds. But I would guess that this difference in name had a positive effect on diamonds.

Maybe the admins saw too many examples of Kotrin and Georgia with all their excess gold. There are many ways for admins to reduce excess gold (some more popular than others). |
| Not all player who have 1M and above are willing to pay 1M for TGI because they think the TGI will be lower in the future. If they buy it price 1M, when they reach LV5 TG ==> they will have to sell it for price about 500-800==> they lose much money. |

Mmmm...No. If new LG rules get implemented here, it means newcomers will have to enroll for a full year instead of three months to get their TGI. Don't expect the change to affect TGI market in any way because it won't affect the fundamentals - TGI holders have no incentive to sell.
Worse even, millionaires will be even more unreachable with new LG rules. |
I don't understand why loans are not forbidden?
From my point of view:
- if you take loan you should be punished
- if you give loan you should be punished |
I give you 5 reasons which cause it down
1/If wage decreases, there will be deflation.
2/If there are war or event, players need money to invest in good enchanted arts ==> TGI holder need money.
3/If the price of TGI can't increase (now it stops increasing) ==> they don't want to hold more because they can't get more profit. If they sell TGI, they will have money to invest in others, or change faction ...
4/Don't forget that there always are the players who reach LV5 TG now and future. Most of these players want to sell to get money. I know Kotrin and some players don't need money, so they don't want to sell but these player do.
5/Most of players (even billionaires) who need TGI are not willing to pay over 1M for TGI. They will wait for a lower price. |

One point for you, I agree on that one. If wages decrease, gold becomes more valuable. It may somehow decrease the comparative value of a TGI.

I agree that TGI prices have reached a plateau. But it's not a reason in itself to predict a decrease. Changing faction and the like already happens now, and people can always wait.

Everyone wants to sell, including me. Keeping a TGI forever holds no purpose. But those "new players reaching TG 5" are extremely few. Most high-level thieves started long ago when you received 2 TGI along the process. Reaching TG 5 now also means waging battles in full arts (and thus lots of money, ie. enrolls, ie. time) or being extremely patient (losing, ie. wasting time) Either way it will take months, if not year, to reach TG 5; honestly, I doubt the flow of TGI released this way will ever suffice to quench demand.

Disagreement about price is the reason why transactions are so infrequent - it's supply and demands basics, really. Yet, you managed yourself to sell TGI more than one million to gullible buyers, so there's probably a pool of rich would-be thieves.
I just want to sell my TGI at market price, that's about it. If market price decrease, good for all buyers. I'm won't even be upset, I've gone beyond the stage where getting rich makes you happy ;) |

I guess you wanted to say month instead of years. To get 1 million in wages assuming a avarage wage of 184 you need about 2300 enrolls, if you start with labourer guild 0. The next million only needs 1600 additional enrolls.
Of course no one can achieve this with a rate of 24/day, but if you manage 6 per day you would have it in a year and I think the game offers enough entertainment for this time without having to rely on ambushs.
By the way there are lots of other ways to gain gold beside earning wages, so even without lots of effort you can probably shorten this time to maybe half a year. |

Sorry, but that was talking about only enrolling to get money. That means no fights to lift the workaholic penalty. Resulting in enrolling 23,000 times. That are 958 days of enrolling 24 time a day. If you enrol only 6 times a day that that left you with 3833 days - over 10 years. |

Uhm... I would like to see the math behind that.
With my calculations factoring increases with LG, assuming min art fights (you actually gain gold with combat), and starting with a higher LG (no one starts saving on day 1 for a TGI), you only need 2 months (nonstop) enrolling to gain ~1 million gold.
Or if you are enrolling 6/day, then 8 months, which isn't that much considering that a TGI is the most expensive "need" (I'm leaving estates out of this). |

See someone with LG 6 in his profile has earned 1'336'650 on his way to LG 6, plus all the gold currently earned in his path from LG 6 to LG 7. Of course, some gold is spent along the way, but also, there are additional sources of income (from Elements to hunt loot.)
A TGI at one million and more is definitely affordable for someone with enough patience. |
