Demons can kill elfs with ease. They are powerful until you get close to them. Keep your troops away from EFK and in range to attack elfs/druids. If you manage to take retail and attack EFK before they do, you already won the fight. |
i dont know of high lvls ( from 8 + )
but i found that defeating elfs so hard at lvl 6
and dont u think its unfair for demons at lvl 6 ??
at lvl 5 recruiting is - 28,7,18,7
and at lvl 6 - 29,1,20,11
so only 1 spawn and 2 wolf increased
and barbs got so much hobgoblings and orcs...its unfair -.-" |
those 11 Scoob are very good if u ask me. orcs are no match for them.
even i feel that recruiting looks less. but having more will make them overpowered due to gating. we can manage with that troop count if u ask me.
hob range is only 2-2 and spawn 2-4. so they can deal more dmg than hob for same count. u will notice there power from lvl7 onwards. they are one of the best units in survival. they take almost all units in one strike. i preferred them over incs in lvl8-9 duels and gb. |
im becoming a thief and i need some advice for lvl 10 thief. what's best recruitement and talents?
would it be good to use striving speed as talent and 2 knowledge and 3 spell power or is it useless in ambushes.

| for agent_004: i would find a set-up that suits you, use the first couple of ambushes as...tests. first try max incendaries see how that works, succubi and then spawns. as for talents i have absolutely no clue :P |

I just started to thief myself. The worse part is that the caravans have a lot of troops. And if you get 4-6 stacks of shooters or a wizard caravan, it will be tough to stay alive in the first 2 turns.
So I'm doing it like this, and so far it works fine:
1. Place sucubi in the upper left corner. Place all other troops in the lower right. This will make at least half the enemy troops go after sucubi, so you'll have time to gate with the rest.
2. Take defensive talents. All caravans heroes except barb will have low attack and defense and high spell power. So your attack without attack talents should be just fine. Having defense (with avoidance or barrier) will buy your troops enough time to gate and attack without suffering heavy losses ;) |

lvl 7 dmeon - advanced luck or battle fury ?
i got battle fury in lvl 6 also and hell fire is a waste
so what u think ?

if u try survival with advanced luck in 1 try and battle fury in another u will get ur answer!! ;P
i wouldn't say lvl7 and 6 are same. their is a huge boost in troop count in lvl7 and demons are quite unbeatable in duels at that lvl. just keep on playing as u will have to go trough some boring lvls like 9,13 etc... |

| thats not true, gating is one of the best ability's. Demons are indead quite unbeatable at lower levels. going from lvl 8 to lvl 9 wont bring you anything new, so thats why its boring, not even alot more troops. level 13 i dont know :P |

i disagree with you. gate make demon so strong and they could summon additional troops to assist them in combat.
with the talent gating, demon could outnumber their opponent easily. |

| The increase in troop count is negligible from level 8 to 9, and level 12 to 13. So if you don't purchase diamond upgrades, it's almost as if you're playing the same level twice. |

Battle fury, it is route to go for demon! Increase of damage with imps/spawns, hellhounds/cerberies is simply unbelievable!
Hellfire is pretty weak. You can do some nice damage in "non-hunt battles", but it triggers only sometimes and cost too much mana. Well pretty weak compared to battlefury. |
