The game Administration would like to sincerely apologize for the recent overextended development and for the shortage of progress in LWM game along with the lack of development of the in-game community. The Administration plans to initiate a merge of two servers of the game (so called .com and .ru servers) in the next few months. After its successful initiation it will bring all of the Lords the vast variety of opportunities, and will secure the continuous progress and development of the game with the opportunities for everyone to enjoy!

Looking back at this past year, we feel embarrassed. Not many actions were taken by the team, not much was done to entertain current players nor to attract new ones into the community.
We urge to announce that such lamentable fact is not a result of loss of interest towards this server from our side, but simply due to lack of time and resources.
The measures we decided to assume seem to be the only solution to long-time stagnation of our server; therefore, the merge of two worlds, commonly known as HeroesWM.ru and LordsWM.com is to be performed within at most one month from current day.
We are already in the process of work, and as soon as we are ready to disclose the mechanics and newly expected rulings of the merged servers, there will be an official announcement providing you with necessary details.
I don't mean anything by posting this. This is only a statement of fact, people can draw their own conclusions.
I for one believe that this time the merge will happen, if not by the end of January, then perhaps in a few months.
Also for all the people that asked for my opinion back in May and I told them it's not going to happen anytime soon, probably will happen in November. Well I told you so :) In fact it will now happen (assuming it will) even later than I expected.
Finally, if anyone from administration reads this, I suggest liquidating all the items, estates, elements and may be even resources at this server's prices. That will save up developing migration scripts for items and such. I think it may also be more fair, since the prices on the .ru server are very different for many items. |
it certainly is a lot cheaper to repair arts over there :D
103% there compared to 110%-120% here.
you can also rent arts/enchanted arts which is very nice, especially for events :)

Same here, I even had a dream last night of how the merge turned out. I think this game is starting to get to me haha.
I have a feeling the merge won't turn out as well as it did in my dream, but nevertheless let us embrace and adapt to the future. |

It would be devastating for roulette players who are going to try their luck with all their gold :)
I don't think it will happen because it will be hard to calculate all costs, like for a sword with enchantments which has been repaired x times and has half durability.. How do you know its price?
Also every estate was bought for a different price.
But of course I'd like to get more money and buy cheaper on .ru. Just don't think it would happen. (Sven91, why did you say you "hope this won't happen"? It will be in our advantage if we are payed back for a high price and then if we are able to buy for a lower price). |
it would help the admins a lot if u guys stop giving too much suggestions!
i understand that our opinions do matter but i feel it might hold them back. even though we had been disappointed by the admins in the past in more than a few occasions I REALLY TRUST THEM ON THIS. I REALLY DO! |
| All those suggestions have good and bad sides so it might turn out to be more fair for most players, if admins just do it their own way. When they work on the code, they should see more short and long term consequences whan we do. |

Whatever admins do there will always be some players who feel that they have been treated badly, this in some occurrences may even be true but bottom line is that they need to make some difficult and complex decisions. They don't want people to stop playing after all the time (and work) involved so will doubtless make it as fair as possible.
All good in my opinion and I am looking forward to merge. |
