Author | change in combat system: move first, then attack |
I suggest that players can hold shift for melee units as well, by doing this they can move their stack first. And then they can select the stack which they want to attack seperately.
Because i find it extremely difficult to attack with a large creature on the diagonal.
Example:
D = dragon
O = empty
X = enemy
This is difficult to do:
D D O
D D O
O O X
It can easily result in a missclick, looking like:
O D D
O D D
O O X
or
O O O
D D O
D D X
Where you also sometimes hit your own troops with dragonic breath due to the missclicks. And with turn timers of 30 seconds, it can be frustrating to attack over the diagonal.
(or if someone else has a better suggestion to make these "diagonal attacks" easier, please share). |
Good idea. I find these misclicks very frustrating as well and it has happened lots of times to me. |

Very common problem. Very annoying for people with optical mouses that glitch too |

I have had several costly misclicks and would like a system that isn't hit/miss with the diagonal attacks. |
With me, it ends up being me moving to the area and NOT attacking at all... terrible, terrible, terrible....

+1 nice idea |
nice i find this annoying too...
especially when i took retal then it just moves to the space and doesn't hit |

Precise "aiming" takes time and in PvP all people are waiting.. |

How about a 2 click system for all the creatures? The first click can be for choosing the tile and the second one can be for attack. It will be much more faster than holding shift everytime.
