I wont say about knight. I really like this faction but against dark casters like barb, demon and dark elf tamer it just plain sucks.
Classic barb for 1v1 is solid choice too. In groups, heavily outclassed by some matchups but it can work against wizard and elves. Also sometimes dwarf if luck triggers on birds and orcs in the early game) |

| Yes, as Merlin said. Most alt classes such as holy Knight and battle wiz are built such that they don't overshadow the classic or original faction. But for classic barb and i think alt de this isn't the case. Both shadow barb (due to high ogre count) and fury (vast number of shooters) are always preferred rather. |
