| It could be seen as repetitive but that is still a subjective opinion dependent on viewers experience. If we were being honest, most shounen anime follow a similar pattern that becomes evident with the progress of its storyline so if you watch one anime, you would see some degree of repetition regardless of few novel concepts and plot design across different shounen. Bleach does the same thing within one anime but across different canon arcs. For me personally, that doesn't take away from the absolute fun that it is to watch. |

I really liked Bleach as well. I dont mind the repetition(grind->lose->grind->win uWu). But the plot isnt as thick as Naruto tbh. Naruto had alot of twists and I was very surprised at some of them. The fillers are a major downside to both. Overall Naruto is rewatchable. Cant say the same for bleach. And yeah opinions are subjective :) so yeah. |
| For me, naruto isn't rewatchable. Bleach is. I skip fillers for both obviously but still find myself wanting to see the incredibly cool characters that bleach has over and over which i never felt for whatever naruto offers. To be honest, a lot of naruto dialogues made me cringe when i tried to rewatch it and you probably already know that he talks way too much. |

All well thought out villains with excellent story writing except for Orochi in 2nd half of Shippuden.

Bleach does not have one unremarkable character.. even minor ones like ganju are fun and unique.
Naruto was very good, i loved this anime until pain arc but thats where it peaked and it was amazing. I did not like the stuff following that. The way they did the great war was a major disappointment. All the kages were cheapened by use of reanimation justsu. Kaguya and madara had their hype worthy moments, but became even more disappointing extremely quickly. I never cared for itachi so he was always a non-factor anyway. |

Honestly, only manga I've read so far are One Piece and Attack on Titan. Doesn't take me long at all :D
One Piece just keeps at it, while AoT has seriously degraded in quality. |
For me, naruto isn't re-watchable. Bleach is.
that is because naruto is more momentum driven (story); while bleach has a story that is virtually trash and therefore you don't watch it for the story but just for the fights, and "cool" looking and "cool" acting characters just carry the hell out of fight scenes if done well enough.
that is what bleach is , a storyless piece of shit with a lot of pomp and show, there is substance but it is similar to that of a "certain individual who provides coital services for monetary gain".
basically bleach is like a hot dumb girl, she may be dumb but you can "look" at her multiple times and feel gratified. |

dont read it it is a waste of time, if you are a high school student or lower maybe you can waste a lot of time and watch the anime but otherwise i would advise against it, you can spend your time in a better way by reading berserk. |

Knowing that there are people here and elsewhere who have openly shown that they like bleach, my question to you is really simple. How can you tell others who you know nothing about that watching/reading bleach is a waste of time? That's indefensible and as i see it your statements contribute nothing to others that would facilitate valid viewpoints about what makes bleach worth watching or not, rather they merely serve the purpose of declaring reprehensibly your personal dislike. It's not a hard thing to understand, the next person who writes here could say same crap about naruto -that it is just pretty animation which has managed to live off its hype, the said hype being an outcome of earlier arcs where you could see things developing clearly. Regardless it would still be wrong to suggest that it'd be a waste of time based on the undeniable fact that it had enough potential to be well liked by many people like yourself. |

first off : i dont hate bleach, in fact i use it as a cleaning agent in my life.
secondly: i dont hate bleach the anime either in fact i reall like all the fights, and if it is not evident enough, i like it enough to argue about it on a forum. Also bleach has mad sound design.
now that we have established that, there are shows that are OBJECTIVELY better than bleach and more fun. hunter x hunter and FMA:B for example are better shows and nanatsu no taizai and FATE:Zero are way more fun.
The guy was asking for recommendations for either manga or anime and i am pretty sure you would agree that berserk is a far better story than bleach is, and if it conforms to your sense of fun then i would stretch and say it is more fun than bleach.

as for this question, I just recommended something based on my personal preference that is what everyone does. Even you did it when you recommended me steins gate.

If there are shows objectively better than bleach then it makes no sense to watch bleach if you have limited time. Moreover bleach did have the potential to be well liked but it did not go anywhere with the potential so that is a big fat L in my book. |
