There is then increasing differences between factions - for example the logical extension of Dwarf FL13 would be an extra rune of exorcism- which is basically pointless - whereas tribal getting another 4% less damage when absorbing spirit is significantly better. The more Faction levels increase with the same continuation of faction skill- the more it impacts on the balance between factions where their faction skill is less "good" making it tricky to be fair. Hence I think why it has been delayed so long really, and may still be a way off. For me I doubt I will ever reach it in any faction so I am interested in terms of curiosity rather than direct impact on me. |
Some time ago I read an interview with one of admins and if I can remember he was talking about a possibility of fsl 13, however as he said, it will be probably without any huge bonuses (no huge stats, maybe +1 att, def and ini? (o: ) as raising racial ability should be good gift enough :)

Its a very good point you have made but i don't agree with that specific example of what is significantly better. I think a new faction level must become a part of the game in the near future any how and it would actually be a meaningful update to a lot of us instead of a new combat level or few levels for that matter especially at this point where a good number of server at CL 15-16 has already made it to the highest fsl. That is a lot of exp gap towards ultimate combat level 21, and therefore a lot of fsp dumping into alternate factions that you may or may not be interested in.
I know some would say that when this happens it would sense to explore other factions but lets face it, some people just don't like to play all factions equally :p |

How many games are out there who can compete that?
I thought for sure someone was going to say Kingdom of Loathing -- it's I think going on 14 years and still has an active playerbase and regular new content. But a totally different sort of game.
I also played Travian, but the degree of dedication required was too much for me.

| Me already retire long time ago from travian. Maybe a year before they had silver system. That really cost our sleep time and freedom because must on at least 10hour a day and more bigger our village more time needed. Let alone natar and guild war :( |
Wow 100 battles arts, I am impressed.
Now honestly what to do with it lol? Should I suicide my fsp/exp ration by playing 100 enchanted gb's? That would be ridiculous... but hard for me to play quick tourneys 10 per day as well, as they usually happen when I am not online. |
