Aaaaand got 3rd on my last battle... Rip silver... 2 points short.......
The reason I got this low is because the GOD DAMN waywardness put my lizards in the WORST SPOT POSSIBLE. After that I tried to cover him with my scrap stalker unit BUT NO, waywardness made him attack another player DRAWING MORE AGRO. After that enemy ganged up on lizards and I went to hide in a corner and cry. Then the god damn incredibly balanced stack of 70 ogre shamans came, took out 2 enemy stacks and my remainining army (10 shadow witches and 93 minotaurs ON DEFENSE) alone.
I was not even disrupted. I used 4 of my witch disruptions on him!! But he has resistance AND barrier (why the hell does dark barb have a luck tree?????).
Not to mention I was an idiot and as always FORGOT to put extra points on KN.
Could have summoned some harpies and kited that ogre to death, maybe would have even won....

You played tamer DE without utilizing your summons, and from your own assessment you could have "kited that ogre to death," like it wold be such an easy matter.. So which one of your claims are we supposed to believe?
Also you were 2 points short after the last game, which is not as close as you would like to think. You should have been expecting bronze based on your overall performance anyway. |

Yeah sometimes they are not...
And other times, ogre solos a player.
One unit solos a player...
Not to mention ogre is not the only powerful unit they have (ahem cyclops ahem hyenas ahem) |
| It is rude to accuse other faction OP just because you get wrecked. I play as TDE and having no problem vs shadow barb. Disrupt their def to zero, lure strong stack to them with harpy, peeling their other unit so AI will focus them, and many ways to kill it. |
| Shadow barb is really good in this event because it is able to sit back and get their stacks really easy. now they aren't unbeatable by any means but they are pretty strong. there are plenty of ways to beat them and in other events they can be really bad so i dont get why everyone is going crazy about them. if an ai gets shadow barbs they lose easy. its because a player is smart enough to stack them before doing anything that they do so well in this event |

for Ipsen:
there are more variety on winning faction than last tournament (4th tourney is shadow barb and tribal only), now we have shadow barb, TDE, necro, tribal, classic elf, and wizard for CL15.
you can always pick the faction who have advantage in each tourney, at our level it is common to have 2-3 full castle.
look at my battle log, I put human at 3 points at most. if he dares to go auto I am happily arrange the battle so he get only 0-1 points (even if they are shadow barb/tribal). |
| Hmmm maybe I shouldn't have used mirror so much lol. I finished within 3 days of the event coming out. If I took my time I for sure could have gotten a silver without trying to hard. Oh well though. Mirror did save me a lot of time:) |
| There were 3 times as many knights as shadow barbs in the top 150 for lvl 12 and only 1 shadow barb got gold and only 1 TDE. Knights reigned supreme for my combat lvl. |
| Ok I suck at counting. 2 SB got gold 5 TDE got gold and 13 knights got gold out of 32 total. 1/3 of the gold for lvl 12 was knights. So maybe defense is supreme on this one. Still a really cool event and I had a lot of fun playing it:) |

| And we are over here complaining about a couple points or how this was unfair. some people had a really hard time with this event. Look at the bottom of bronze for most of these lvl's took some 40-50 combats for 8th place. In lvl 12 there was a guy that did 14 combats and got 15 points. |
