| Is it worth getting griffins? I remember in PoT they used to be very frail much like royal griffins. Wondering if I should skip them and just get the T7 angels :P |

you can not skip it when you want to build angels.
this griffin is not bad, however the other two elite units are better than it, while you have to give up one unit due to the lack of silver. |

I got the griffins first. They are pretty fragile indeed but provide good distraction for the enemies: stay D around two groups of pikemen and absorb all the attacks (for some reason, the enemy troops always attack them first), or send them dive into the enemy mobs to distract them for a couple of rounds (one round more likely :) ).
I don't feel having the knights would make much difference though. What is most important is never to upgrade or build high tier troops without having enough silver to hire all the available troops. |
