For my battle 46 I have 1515 arachnid bots which have a leap ability and auto destruct, as well as 150 or so steam tanks led by a hero.
Clearly what I need to do is to tempt the arachnid bots to self destruct (ideally near the big steam tank stack) and then it will be straight forward.
They have too much def and hp to engage at distance and reduce significantly, and trying to melee the arachnid bots to pieces is a gamble that if you do not wipe them out they will explode and take out everything (I took my risk, and got them to 400 or so, but still enough damage left to total most of my remaining troops).
Does anyone have an example battle where they get it to explode nicely, perhaps a defence build? I think the AI calculates things based upon which it can do more damage with, if more with the explode which bypasses defence then it will do that. Is that correct logic? |

antimagic is pretty weak with the standard spell power on holy build. You get about 20% protection or even lower. I would rather use my hero to buff and teleport. |

That will do me for this event. I think not a bad return for gold invested, could do most of the early battles with cheaper arts that made it to 57 AP, just a bit grindy.
